Inseparable. The word reminded Fredrik of Jari and in his mind that face (forget that was his now; he saw himself in his mind's eyes with his old face) was transfixed on her brothers who he had never met. "Ah well, then it's understandable. Who has your grandfather been trying to set him up with as I assume he has plans for him as well?" Dreadful idea of course. She said something then that made one eyebrow lift slightly and then the connection came about.
They had been known for quite a famous story after all.
The suspicion of thought crossed Fredrik's mind but he kept it off Jari's face. That would be a horror, trapped with the ages to see passing by and you unchanging. Something told him her "grandfather" was older then he sounded at first from her whispered words. Fascinating in a way and scary in another! Fredrik had, in all of his life, only met one vampire (a very polite chap but goodness he couldn't get away fast enough; being looked at hungrily was not fun) and he had little experience with them.
"Ah well then that's all right! We all have to be good at different things. How do you do in divinations by the way?" And then she mentioned there were three branches of the family. "Oh really? And no one is allowed to talk with him? That sucks. I bet, however, that he would be willing to take both you and your brother in if you went to him. Maybe you should try writing him a letter?"
He couldn't remember any other famous vampires from the legend except for some vague reference to Vlad Teps having a brother, but that was, of course, long ago. He knew now, however, he would be swinging by the Library again at some point to see if there was any mentioned of her family in the genealogy like so many wizarding families were...
