Ancient Runes Classroom

The classroom that holds Ancient Runes is anything but normal. There are the curtains, made of heavy black velvet, were drawn over the large windows and successfully blocked the flood of morning to afternoon sunlight and doused the room in darkness save for a number of burning candles scattered about the room on any available surface. The walls are adorned with pictures of Norse gods and runic literature. There is a very beautiful display of deep, red velvet cushions scattered before a larger royal purple cushion near the center of the room. One could assume this is where the teacher sat, though, if they knew her, they would know she would hardly be sitting at all, but walking among them, ruffling hair and smacking the back of heads when need be. Odd furniture that looked to belong to any eastern and northern European country decorated the room space.
