Anael shook her head. “I mean that I would gain weight. It doesn't matter how much you exercise, it's harder to lose weight than it is to keep it off in the first place. Not that I think that I couldn't find a way to work it off anyway... You know, playing sports and all.” Anael was a quidditch player, but she was also the sort of person that would play muggle games with friends that were muggleborn or half-blood. For obvious reasons Blaise didn't keep books on muggle sports around so Ana had to learn from others. Which was fine, since she liked talking to people more than she liked sitting down with a book anyway.
She wasn't sure what Jari was saying when he raised his glass, though she assumed that it was something like 'cheers'. Unless he was just taking the time to insult her in another language, but she was alright with that too. She was sure that she would do the same if she knew a language that no one else at school did. “Cheers to you, Jari,” she said with a smirk, wondering if he would prefer that she use his surname. She lifted her warm glass to him, then took a swig of it. It was sickly sweet, almost, but she knew that was because she wasn't used to it. She watched Jari to see how he would react to the alcohol. To her surprise, rather well.
“Revisiting an old friend? Maybe I shouldn't let you have anymore, you're starting to sound like an alcoholic in the making. Teenagers don't know when to stop, you know.” She glanced at the hot chocolate when he asked, then stirred it with the peppermint cane. “Best I've had in a while, though that could just be because I haven't had hot chocolate in so long... They say that the drinks are better or worse depending on the company. Am I so trying on your nerves with that in your hand?” she asked with a smirk on her face. She hadn't expected him to hang around this long but the promise of alcohol seemed enough to keep him there.
