" Yes. I've always found myself to be lucky in that way. I have people who will support my decisions just because they want to see me happy." That alone was something that meant the world to him. Knowing that no matter what may happen, he always had the support of his brothers, his father and his friends. They would always be there for him, to watch over him, guide him, and cheer him on as he made his way on the journey that was known as life.

He fell quiet, listening as Aito spoke about his future plans a small smile making it's way on his face as he talked about the last option. Perhaps it was because of how kind, and happy that Aito seemed to be. Perhaps it was because of the pure joy, the pure happiness that seemed to radiate from Aito's form when he talked about making people, especially children happy, but that last option seemed to suit him best.

" You should do whatever it is that makes you the happiest . You'll be the one doing the job every day, you might as well be doing something that you love to do." As long as it made a person happy, that should be more then enough to sastify their family. That was a belief that Xayden had always held about things such as careers, and various other things and yet deep in his heart he knew that things weren't always so black and white.

"I can't imagine anyone being anything other than proud of you. You have a kind heart, and are such a nice person. I have a feeling that you are going to become a great person, that you're going to do great things. They would have to be blind not to be proud of the person that you are already, nevermind the person that you're going to be " He smiled, and returned the slight squeeze that was given to his hand before falling quiet.

" What I really want is to have the chance to fall in love with someone, and start a family of my own. I know that it's weird that I say that since I'm still so young and everything, but I've just always liked the idea of it. Having someone that loves me enough to want to spend the rest of their lives with me. Adopt some kids, and spoil them rotten...It just all appeals to me for some reason."

He was a simple person, one that wanted a simple and healthy life with a family that wouldn't be torn apart.

" So what about you Aito? What's your answer. Oh, and what is your favorite thing to do when you have free time here at school? Other then spending time in the hospital wing that is."

That answer had both surprised him and hadn't. It was the sort of answer he might have expected from the people he knew well, so to hear it from the house superstar was an unexpected sort of surprise. However, the answer gave him some foresight into the type of person that Xayden Andrews really was.

"It may surprise you, but I want the same thing. That sort of unconditional love has always appealed to me in the deepest way." He was very family oriented from birth and it appealed to him tremendously. Love was something he always wanted to experience full on. "The one year I happened upon the Mirror of Erised completely by accident, I actually saw myself proposing to some unknown person. I guess I see a lot of appeal in being part of someone's life."

It was strange to be having such a strong conversation with someone like this, but as he glanced down at their entwined hands it felt very...right. As if such a conversation was supposed to happen.

"As for what I like to do, there's a lot. I do a lot of Transfiguration at home with the plants. It's nothing for our flowers to sing. On mom's birthday, I'm going to make them open with a big pop of glitter. I love to fly too. Actually, I finally remembered my broom this time! I kept leaving it in my room, so I had to keep borrowing the school broom. Let's see...I love to dance, and practice martial arts. That has resulted in having so much control over my body. And my uncle taught me yoga for balance, strength and flexibility."

He grinned, "Seriously. Watch this." For a moment, he let Xayden have his hand back and placed his hands on the snowy ground before he kicked off the ground in an effortless hand stand. His legs continued back and he soon had his feet a mere breath from the back of his head. Then he pulled back his left hand and wrapped it over the back of his head, balanceing without a shake or waver. After a moment, both feet fell to the ground in front of him and he eased up from a very awkward angle. No one ever expected him to be so flexible. "If I'm ever in a situation where magic can't save me, I'm preapred to get out, or save someone. "

He brushed his hands off and slipped his hand back in Xayden's before asking, "What is your favorite color?"

He was surprised by Aito's answer, just as surprised as he knew Aito was when he had given the same answer only minutes before. He had previously believed that his wants, his dreams and desires were ones that did not usually come to one as young as he was, never before did he dare to hope that someone his age shared his dream. It was a relief, to know that he was not entirely alone in that matter. It would appear that he and his fellow Raven had more in common then he had previously thought.

"Honestly, I am a little surprised to hear that you feel that way as well. I always thought that I was a bit strange for thinking about this stuff at my age, you know when I should be out and enjoying my time with my friends, and other things like that..but I just couldn't help it either. Everything that happened in the past it showed me that life could end at any moment, and when I do pass away, I don't want to have any regrets. Love is the most important thing to me. If nothing else, I do want to say that I managed to fall in love with someone in my lifetime."

He wanted that more than anything. As he listened to Aito speak again, he smiled. He could see Aito being the type to propose.

"That sounds fascinating. I never knew that one could make flowers do things like that. I'm sure your mother will love it." He genuinely looked shocked at the news. Charmed flowers that could sing, and poof out glitter. He would certainly have to start paying closer attention in class. He smiled when Aito said that he liked to fly as well for it was yet another thing that they had in common. Merlin, why had it taken so long for them to talk to each other?! He nodded as he said that he liked to dance, and that he liked to practice martial arts, though the latter two surprised him. He was somewhat familiar with martial arts, because his friend Makoto practiced it as well, but he had never heard of this Yoga before.

When Aito told him to watch him, he immediately followed his instruction, his curiosity not allowing his gaze to leave Aito's form for even a second. He watched as Aito kicked off into a handstand, and then brought his legs very close to the back of his head. If that wasn't enough, then Aito balanced on one hand as he wrapped his left arm around the back of his head without so much as a single shake. He then allowed his feet to touch the ground, and he brought his body back up from such an awkward angle so easily, and gracefully that it appeared as if it was an easy feat to accomplish.

Xayden was thoroughly stunned into silence. His eyes were wide in shock, and his jaw had dropped open, giving his normally calm, collected features a look of complete shock. He had never seen anyone do something even remotely similar to that before.

" T-That was amazing! I've never seen someone do something like that before. I didn't even know that the human body could bend that way...." His surprise did not leave his face, not even for a minute. It was obvious that what Aito had done had completely amazed, and impressed Xayden.

" I can certainly see that. I would hate to get into a physical scuffle with you. Remind me to never piss you off..." While it was meant as a joke, he also knew that Aito had to be strong in order to pull something like that off, he would hate to be on the other side of that scuffle.

" Ahh...I don't just have one favorite color. My favorites are dark blue, black, and white. Hmm..what is your favorite animal?"

Aito grinned bashfully, "Oh, I doubt you could ever make me that upset. I mean...you would really have to try. And thank you. I've practiced for close to 13 years to get that flexible."

His next question made him smile, "It may seem funny, but my favorite animals are panda bears. Once, I charmed my poor cat to look like one. She absolutely did not approve of that. I like cats too. If you don't mind them, I'd love to introduce you to Kimmiko when we get back to the castle. She's very friendly." Hell, she might wind up wandering through the dorm and sleeping with him!

"You know what might be fun?" He said cheerfully, looking over at him, "We could go flying sometime." For a split moment, he thought of sharing a broom with him and bit the inside of his lip as he turned pink. "Er...I'm sorry. My brain is a little overactive. I just seem to enjoy spending time with you more than most people."

He was tempted to ask him what he wanted in a man, but instead asked, "What is your favorite class you've had so far?"

"That makes me feel a bit better. Though I'll apologize now, I seem to have a knack for making people angry." He wasn't going to lie, he still was a bit nervous. After all for some god awful reason, it seemed as though Xayden had a special talent for pissing people off. While sometimes he did do it on purpose -especially to a certain hot headed female in the past, but that's another story- he was just as capable of angering people completely by accident.

" Panda bears? How cute. I like them too, though I think my favorite animals have to be tigers." Xayden had a special place in his heart for felines, with tigers being his absolute favorite out pf the big cats. " Oh, I don't mind at all, I'd love to meet her. I love cats. Well, I love all felines really. I have a cat of my own named Saber back at home, but he's a lazy thing who only leaves my bed when he thinks that he's getting fed. It'll be nice to make a new cat friend ." He chuckled quietly to himself, shaking his head at the image of his lazy cat, before glancing up at Aito and freezing.

Merlin, he swore that he was being punished for something that he had done in his past life. Standing in front of him, was a cute boy that wanted to go flying with him, but on top of that he was blushing. Xayden had a weakness for cute boys, and he had a weakness for blushing. Standing here across from Aito, and keeping his hands to himself was something similar to torture to him. The urge to be the cause of Aito's blush was steadily rising, and it took every ounce of willpower in his body to not make a move on him at that moment.

" Y-Yeah. I enjoy spending time with you too, and that would be fun..." A lot of fun. He bit down on his lip when unbidden, the image of the two of them sharing a broom appeared in his mind, and he had to supress a groan. Glancing up at Aito, and seeing that he was in fact still blushing killed what was left of his willpower, and slowly he moved his hand up to gently brush against the heated skin of his cheek, before cupping it.

" You know, you make yourself look really cute when you say things like that, and blush. The color suits you well. If you're not careful and you keep making yourself appear so cute around me, I might end up having a new crush, and then you'll never be rid of me." His eyes were locked into Aito's own, and in that moment he appeared as if he was completely serious, before his lips cracked up in a smirk, and his hand fell away from Aito's face.

" That's a hard question to answer! I feel like I am obligated to say Care of Magical Creatures or I'll get in trouble." Here he paused, his smirk growing slightly for a moment before falling into a real smile. " But in all honesty, It is a tie between Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, and Potions. What about you Aito?"

Merlin's breath!!!

The closeness that suddenly came between was enough to make his breath catch in his chest and make his heart beat faster. Before Xayden spoke, he found his head nudging into that cupped hand with half closed lids, but as the words came out, his eyes flew open. The compliment made his face burn to a whole new shade of red and he found a total loss for words before he spoke again.

"I...erm...uh...my favorite class is...uhm..." Such a blank was drawn. As Xayden's hand withdrew, Aito's body nearly followed. For a moment, he had to think of other things to get those eyes out of his mind. Class...classes..."I like Care of Magical Creatures, Potions, Transfiguration, and Charms most."

He got his mind back and finally said, "And what makes you think I'd want to be rid of you anyway? Maybe I'd rather you be here with me." He smiled playfully before moving up close to the other and running a gentle hand through his hair.

"What...is your favorite food?"

This boy was really starting to take a toll on his self-control. The closeness between them was enough to make his own cheeks flush, and his own heart start to beat faster. He felt as if he was young again, inexperienced in the ways of the heart. He watched with half-lidded seemingly darkened eyes as Aito seemed to lean into his touch, his own eyes falling to a stare that mimicked his own. His eyes fell down his face, landing on his lips. He wondered in that moment, how Aito would have reacted if he had taken the initiative and kissed him right then and there. Would he react positively, and respond to the sign of affection, or would he get scared and push him away?

He was debating whether or not he was willing to take the risk when he felt a certain burst of heat beneath his hand. Glancing up, he couldn't help the smirk that crossed his lips at the sight that he saw. Aito's face had taken on a new shade of red, and he looked so surprised and shy that a small chuckle escaped his lips. This boy was so cute with his reactions, it was almost too much for the Burman to handle. His hand dropped from Aito's face, and his smirk grew as Aito seemed distracted, stumbling over his words as he tried to give him his answer.

" I see. I'll be sure to tell Eddie that you like his class, I'm sure that that'll make his day." He smiled as Aito seemed to recollect his mind, and he had been about to apologize for his actions (though he doubted he would have sounded sincere, he really was enjoying himself a little too much) when Aito moved closer to his form, saying that he might rather have Xayden there with him, and in that moment he found a gentle hand running through his hair, and his body relaxed almost immediately. He had always loved other people playing with his hair. His eyes fell into that half-lidded stare again, and again he locked eyes with Aito.

" You're treading in dangerous waters Aito. If you catch my heart, I won't ever let you go. I'm known to be a very possessive guy." His hand moved up to cup Aito's cheek again, and this time it stayed there for a while longer, his thumb gently brushing against the soft flesh of his cheek.

" As for your question, I like seafood and things that are spicy. What is your favorite holiday?"

Was the weather getting warmer?

No, no it was certainly just him. He found himself more attracted to Xayden with each passing second. Truthfully, he almost worried at the thought that Xayden might think him strange for coming on so strongly. When he did not feel resistance, save for his final warning, he found half lidded black eyes locked on those blue hues. Soft tongue passed swiftly over his own lips as both hands cradled Xayden's face. "If I were lucky enough to catch it, I would not drop it. And I would give you mine to keep in your chest in return for yours."

If he were being less serious, he would have made a crack about his heart being held together with chewing gum, but this...no...this was not the time. His heart beat madly in his chest, and he couldn't look away form Xaysen's eyes to save his own soul. But, he answered with a soft breath, "My favorite holiday...aside from your birthday...is Christmas..."

He couldn't stop it. The pull was too strong, and he soon closed the gap and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to Xayden's lips. The sparks he felt were supernatural and he melted into the moment, until he drew only slightly away from his lips, whispering, "When is your birthday?"

This was almost too much for the Burman to handle. His heart was beating faster and faster with each passing moment. That half lidded stare made him feel as if his blood was on fire. He couldn't recall a time before when he wanted to kiss a person as bad as he wanted to kiss Aito. He couldn't recall a time before this where he wanted a person as badly as he wanted the boy that was directly across from him. Even as he breathed his warning, - the first, and last one that Aito would ever receive from him- he found himself wishing with all of his heart that Aito would not pull away. As that stare became more intense, and as a soft pink tongue passed over the other man's lips, wetting them, he felt his heart skip a bit.

He was going to get his wish.

His eyes were locked with Aito's black ones, his face leaning into the gentle hold that Aito had on it, and for that moment his eyes slid closed. When was the last time that anyone had held him like this? He couldn't remember. His mind was so fuzzy, and in that moment all he could focus on was Aito. When he heard Aito's answer to his question, his eyes opened and in that moment his blue eyes gave him such a gentle, and tender look. It was apparent in that moment with that very stare, that Aito was now the sole holder of the champion's heart.

"Very well then. You'll be mine, and I'll be yours. You now hold my heart in your hands...I'm trusting you with it"

When their lips met in that one fateful kiss, Xayden's hand moved to gently cup the other's face as well. His lips pressed against Aito's, gently moving against his for a moment, and it was as if he had just solved a very difficult puzzle. This kiss felt natural. It felt magical, and it just felt right to him. When the kiss ended, it took Xayden a minute to recollect his thoughts, and another minute to answer his question properly, his voice barely above a quiet murmur. " I was born on the seventeenth of April."

The urge was too strong to resist and a quick, chaste kiss was given to Aito before he pulled away again.

" When is your's Aito?"

Never in his life had he felt his heart react in such a way to another person's touch, and with the words Xayden spoke along with that soft and tender look, he didn't last a moment longer. He felt as if he could kiss those lips forever. As he softly asked his birthday, Aito smiled, brushing the soft pads of his thumbs over Xayden's cheeks and replying in a gentle tone, "December 1st."

Before he could help himself, his lips rediscovered Xayden's again and moved in slow motions as if to slowly draw his pain from him. No, there would be no more pain. Not for either man. And if that Beauxbatons girl came shreiking at him, he would hex her to silence.

"I've never felt so at peace, despite my heart leaping into your chest." He placed a hand over his own chest, and smiled softly before his hand slid back to caress Xayden's face. "Your heart is safe, and so are you when you're with me. Nothing will hurt you that is in my power to stop, this I promise you."

Ugh, he just knew that watching him compete in the tournament was going to worry him to absolute death out of instinct. Not that he didn't think Xayden was capable, that was far from true! He just didn't want to see him hurt and not be able to help him until the task was over.

"Do you have a favorite flower?" He finally asked, smiling warmly. If so, he knew what surprises he could work on for the man's birthday. If only he would be here one more year, but he understood that couldn't happen. If he were lucky, he might still be able to write him during the school year. That is if he didn't screw this up!

Xayden tucked away that small bit of information into his mind to be used on a much later date. Unfortunately, he would not be here to celebrate his next birthday with him, for by that time he would have long since graduated from Hogwarts. A pleased sigh left his lips as he leaned into Aito's touch. He would miss this once the year was over, though he supposed they could meet up and spend time with each other over the summer. "I'll remember that. On your birthday, I'll come to Hogsmeade, and celebrate it with you if you want.Hell I'll make time to see you every weekend if that would make you happy. " After all, there was no rule saying that he couldn't at least do that for him.

Their lips met again, and again in soft and gentle kisses, moving in perfect harmony against each other. It felt so right, so perfect and each meeting of their lips evoked a certain emotion inside of Xayden's heart. One that made him feel both happy, and scared at the exact same time. He could only hope and pray that this romance would turn out good. Xayden was the type of person who fell in love hard, and fast. Love made him blind, and had been the reason he had gotten seriously hurt in the past, and yet as he looked into Aito's loving black eyes, he couldn't bring himself to worry any further.

Aito would not betray or hurt him, of that much he was absolutely sure.

" I like Plumeria flowers." They had always been his favorite flowers. He enjoyed how the scent was not overbearing like other flowers, and he admired the simple appearance of the flower. While it wasn't showy like a rose, it was still just as beautiful.

" What sorts of things do you like Aito? What are your favorite flowers? Do you like sweets? books? what sort of things would you like to receive as a gift?"

Fingers gently slid within his locks and he smiled warmly, "I would love seeing you as often as I'm able to." There was nothing that would make him happier, honestly.

Plumeria...an unique answer as ever, but strangely suiting to a love of simplicity. He stored that within his memory for use later. At his questions, he felt a certain sense of happiness that came from knowing that he actually wanted to know about him. That was something that few people chose to do.

"Flowers, orchids. I love books, anything on Wizarding History or Healing techniques especially. Sweets are good, and my favorites are anything strawberry flavored, or chocolate. Gifts, I'm not picky about, but I like things that come from the heart." As if to emphasize that point, a kiss was placed over the area of the Burman's chest under which his heart beat.

He sighed contentedly. "What gifts do you like? Favorite holiday? Your favorite Quidditch team? Your favorite place to go?" Merlin, if he could, he'd memorize his life as if his own depended on it. He'd know everything that ever made him happy, just to bring it to him again.

He smiled again, his hands moving to gently rest on the other's shoulders as he pulled him into a hug, pressing his lips to the top of Aito's head in a sign of affection before giving him yet another smile. "Then you'll be seeing and hearing from me so often that you'll feel like I'm still there at the castle with you." It was a promise, and Xayden never took his promises lightly. " I'll also write to you throughout the week, that way we still have contact even when we don't see each other." He was really eager to make this work.

He listened as Aito listed the things that he liked, locking each and every bit of it away. He liked to be as detailed as possible when it came to giving his loved ones gifts, and he had a tendency to spoil his lovers with things that he liked whenever he was given the chance to. Shuddering slightly when a kiss was pressed to his heart, he couldn't help but chuckle quietly.

" You are such a sweet and genuine person." His head moved, and again he pressed another kiss, this one to the very tip of Aito's nose.

" As for gifts, I am pretty much the same as you in that matter. I appreciate any gift that I recieve from others. My favorite holiday used to be New Years, but I have a feeling that it will soon change to be today- the day that I finally talked to you. My favorite quidditch team is the Montrose Magpies. If I do decide to go and play quidditch professionally, they are going to be the team I try out for. Well them, and the British national team anyway. My favorite place to go is home actually. We live in Plymouth, England, and our manor is the only residence for miles and miles and since we own all the land, we can do whatever we want, and it's just so peaceful and quiet. You'll have to come visit sometime. We can use our brooms and fly around, and we won't have to worried about getting caught or seen by muggles. It really is a lot of fun. My other favorite place to go is my brother's work site in China. He gets so excited every time we go visit him, and it's always a lot of fun when we go see him. My brother is such a big kid, really."

He chuckled quietly to himself for a moment.

" What about you, do you like quidditch? Where is your favorite place to go? Do you like to travel?"

The kiss to the top of his head was enough to nestle his head against Xayden's chest and smile. He couldn't believe the amount of feelings that this man made him feel. He was in a very happy place and he wouldn't change it for the world.

However, the kiss to the tip of his nose made him smile brightly, laugh, and simultaneously turn pink. "I'd love to feel like you're here with me. That would make next year feel that much more bearable." Aito had a habit of falling fast and falling hard when he allowed himself to fall in love. This time was no different. Granted, he didn't fall often. This was special.

With both arms woven around him, Aito smiled, "I adore traveling. Seeing new places always is kind of exciting to me. One of my all time favorite places is where my uncle lives in Kamakura. Its in the middle of this forest near waterfalls and I just feel so energized when I go. But, I would love to see Italy, or maybe Greece."

Black eyes were soft as forehead met forehead and he subconsciously found himself swaying back and forth with Xayden ever so slightly. "What is your favorite song? Do you like thunderstorms? What would be the absolute best day to you?"

He couldn't help but laugh softly at the combination of both the response that he had received from Aito as well as the reaction that he had gotten for the kiss that he had planted on his nose. Aito was now a soft pink color again, something that never failed to amuse him.He loved seeing that different ways that he could affect him with just the smallest signs of affection. He loved seeing the younger boy's blush knowing that he was the one that caused it.

"Good, then it's settled. Once I graduate, and school starts again, I will come to Hogsmeade every weekend to come and see you." It wouldn't be any trouble for him to come and make the trip, after all he would surely miss Aito just as much as Aito would miss him, if not more. " I'll be here for you whenever you need me. I promise."

He smiled, and sighed happily his eyes slowly falling closed. He was content with just holding Aito in his arms, calmly listening to him as he spoke every single word, feeling and cherishing every single breath that his new lover took. He smiled when Aito asked him that question, and for a brief moment he stepped back, leaning down so that he could press his head to Aito's chest. He stood that way for a moment, before standing straight up again, and bringing Aito back into his embrace.

" My favorite song isn't truly a song. It is the rhythm of your beating heart because that shows me that you are not just some figment of my imagination. It shows me that you are here, breathing, and living and that this is not just some wonderful dream." He smiled softly, for a moment before pausing and answering Aito's question about thunderstorms. " I think they're nice when you are safely on the ground, indoors. When you're up in the air in the middle of one though, they're pretty terrifying." He looked at Aito nervously knowing that his next bit of information was either going to upset, or anger Aito. " One time, during that storm that happened here not that long ago, I left the castle in the middle of it because everyone was bothering me. I went to the Quidditch Pitch to hide away and I found someone practicing out on the pitch. They challenged me, and dared me to get on a broom and fly in the storm, and because I was an idiot I agreed. I have never been more scared in my entire life then I was at that moment." He laughed nervously. "The best day to me would be just spending a day with my loved ones. What is your favorite season? Do you like trying new things, or do you like things to stay the same? What do you consider to be the most important thing in your life?"
