So many books...she had to have at least 3 piles of them. Meggera heaved a heavy sigh from behind her piles. She had asked her grandfather to send her every book they had on werewolves, claiming it was for a paper and that the library's selection was lacking. She had been going through each of them for any hint or whisper of information about imprinting. So far she had found nothing, it looked like the only way to find out more was to actually ask a seasoned werewolf or pack. The only problem was finding one...and she had her doubts about actually getting answers herself if they held the same prejudices as her grandfather. She didn't think they'd be to thrilled with talking to the granddaughter of Dracula...
She pushed the books away from her. She had been reading for three hours straight with no luck at all. She did however know all about the different werewolf myths, typical habitat for wild lycans, and disturbingly enough 7 different ways to sneakily poison a werewolves food. She didn't even want to know why her grandfather had a book like that, but she had quickly shoved it into the bottom on her trunk once she realized what it was. The rest she had carried down to the common room and set up on a table in the corner, but now she was starting to feel overwhelmed. Perhaps a walk would clear her mind a bit. She shoved two of the books and a notepad into a bag and slung it over her shoulder before making her way out of the Ravenclaw commonroom and down through the castle.
She wasn't entirely sure where she was going, her feet were in control and her mind was wandering as she walked, trying to think of ways to get the answers she needed. She could always ask the headmistress, but she would most likely not be to thrilled with the idea of students meeting with the forest pack. It might be dangerous for all she knew. The only other option was going into the forest and trying to track them down. That could take anywhere from hours to weeks though...not to mention the school would definitely notice if some of its students didn't show up randomly for a few days. She shook her head, finally looking around to see where she had ended up. Huh..the fountain courtyard...she hadn't really been here since her engagement to Jamison had started.
She sighed and sat on the edge of one of the fountains, setting her bag down on the ground as she looked around. It was pretty much deserted today thanks to easter break. She almost wished she had her sketch book with her, but she didn't.
