Inwardly, the vampire was cursing to himself as they walked through the base, not believing that he had allowed his emotions to get the better of him yet again. He could not believe that he had allowed himself to kiss and touch Jamie in such an affectionate way despite constantly telling himself that the two of them were only friends and that was the way that things were going to stay. Jamie was not his lover and he was frustrated that despite that fact, all he could think about was how beautiful his eyes and smile were and how good it felt to him to have their lips pressed together in that kiss.

He was eternally grateful when Josef had come in to tell them that they were safe to leave and interupted the somewhat embarassing silence that had begun between the two males. He watched with calm eyes as he summoned his robes before quickly pulling them on and hiding that beautiful, flawless milky skin away from his admiring eyes.

Wait what?

He shook those dangerous thoughts from his head before he followed his two friends out of the room and quickening his pace so that he trailed after Josef but still managed to stay in front of the mortal just in case something was to happen and he needed to protect the mortal. He felt that familiar gaze on his form and yet again he acted as though he had not seen or felt it, this time keeping his eyes directly in front of him as they made their way through the hallways. His heart was beating quickly, wanting nothing more than for him to focus on Jamie instead.

It wanted nothing more than for him to kiss the younger male again and tried to get it's way by using logic to overwhelm the vampire. It told him that Jamie had been the one to kiss him not once, not twice but three times by now. He surely had to have felt a little of what the vampire knew that he felt for the mortal deep down inside of him and yet his stubborn mind overpowered his tender heart as the vampire concluded that the kisses had meant something different for the German that they had meant for him.

Jamie's kisses had surely been ones of graditude, not the ones of love and affection that he had secretly hoped that they were. The two of them were nothing more than friends and that was how it would remain. He was almost positive that he would never mean to the mortal, what the mortal had already began to mean for him.

He was shaken out of his rather depressing thoughts when he heard Jamie speak again to him and Josef, telling them what he had heard the Death Eater say to the headmaster of Durmstrang. The words had not surprisingly been very cruel and had been designed to hurt the other male in the way that the other painful things that he had done could not. " Vhat he said vas not only cruel it vas also a bunch of lies. You are not hopeless nor are you a freak of nature. You are a very kind young man that likes to help others. You do have a place in vizarding society, as a healer. They need you there at Hogwarts, you are talented at vhat you do. You do not have to hide in the shadows like he does, you are able to thrive in the light. People care for you, I have seen how the students greet and smile at you in Hogsmeade. That man is a liar and he could never even hope to understand someone like you, do not take his vords seriously."

It was immediately after he had spoken that all three of them had finally managed to reach the outdoors. The atmosphere seemed to change almost immediately as Jamie stepped onto the earth, his purity immediately clensing the darkeness that had remained there until it was completely gone. He watched as Jamie inspected a flower that was blooming on a tree, smiling softly at the words that Josef had spoken before following after him, making sure that Jamie was right behind him as they made their way through the forest until the metal building was lost to them.

Josef had spoken to the two of them, giving them both instructions before Disapparating out of the forest, leaving the two males in silence yet again. When Jamie spoke an apology to the vampire, he simply shook his head before staring into those pretty eyes again. " There is no need to apologize my friend, none of this vas any of your fault. They vould've taken someone regardless. The important thing is that you are okay and alive. That is all that matters."

"Still," He protested in a soft voice, his eyes finally moving to look up at him, "I put your life at risk, and I vorried you. I know zhat you said zhat is vhat friends are for but..." He stopped, looking pleadingly into those icy eyes, wishing he knew what to say.

Every press of his lips made his heart beat faster, each touch of his hand made him joyous. Even hearing his voice and laughter was enough to keep him with a smile through his days and nights. And when those blonde locks fell into his eyes...he was done for.

Was that it then? Had someone finally gotten into his heart? Was what he was feeling...love?

No one had ever made him feel like this, though many had tried. He had effortlessly captured his heart and taken over his thoughts. Even his name sent a warm surge through his chest. This was something he had to know. If he was rejected, he wouldn't hurt anyway, right?

"But...I vould be lyink if I said I didn't vant and vish that zere vere more. Efery time I kiss you...I alvays vant more. Your name alvays tastes beautiful on my lips. Your eyes...Merlin those eyes...Aleksandr...I sink I am in lo- "

Sef re-appeared with a pop and huffed. "15 minutes! Not a half an hour! Let's get kiddo back so we can get to London and get this shit done with! I don't want Manchester's goons all over the place again." He fixed the two with a not too amused stare and gestured for them to hurry before popping away.

"I vill tell you later." Jamie said, bashfully, before raising his wand and appirating with a pop, whisked away through the stretch of time and space.

It seemed as though the younger male was determined to blame himself for all that had happened no matter what it was that the vampire said in an attempt to convince him otherwise. He listened again as the younger male spoke, watching with calm and icy blue eyes as he spoke and gazed up at him with a pleading look in those eyes. Oh those beautiful eyes that made his heart beat fast every single time that he saw them. Even right now he was having a hard time keeping the cool and collected expression on his face present as he stared into his eyes and listened to his words.

This boy was his weakness, he already knew it, as did Josef. It was almost as clear as day and yet for some reason, his infatuation still did not see how he felt about him! Did he honestly believe that Aleksandr would've held a friend the way that he held Jamie? Did he honestly believe that he would touch someone that gently, or even allow just a friend to kiss him the way that he allowed Jamie to? If so than he really needed to start thinking about how he presented himself to the other male because apparently he was presenting himself in the wrong way.

When Jamie said that he wanted, that he wished that there was more between them than just friendship, Aleksandr's body froze, his heart skipping a beat as he gazed at Jamie with a surprised look in his eyes, listening to the younger man's words as he spoke them. He spoke about how every single time that he kissed the vampire that he always wanted more from him. He said that whenever he said his name, it tasted beautiful before moving on to say something about his eyes. He had been about to say something more when they had been interupted at truly the worst of times.

Merlin, he swore he was going to kill Josef when they got back. This was the third time in that day that they had been interupted! Josef had to be doing this on purpose now!!!

His eyes moved to glare darkly at his friend for a moment, growling quietly and cursing at him under his breath in his native language when the other man had apparated away again. He knew that his friend had a point and that they had work to do, but really? He couldn't have popped in a minute later?! Hell even a few seconds later would've been better! His gaze turned to Jamie as he spoke again, anger fading and features relaxing as the German promised to tell him later before also apparating out of there.

" I vill hold you to that Jamie." The words were muttered before he too apparated with that familiar popping noise, flying through time and space until he arrived at the very entrance of the Hogsmeade village before quickly making his way to the castle to ensure that both Josef and Jamie had made it there safely.

Jamie had managed to land just on the outskirts of the castle grounds, where Josef wound up at the front door to the castle, swearing that the male had missed his mark on purpose. However, this time he did not go running after him. He waited on high alert where he stood as Jamie was making his way to the castle. It was not long before the hurrying Aleksandr would intersect Jamie's path and was met with a smile. "Before he gets zee idea to interrupt me again, I vas tryink to say...zhat I sink I ahm...fallink in lofe vis y-"

"Mister Rosenthal??" One of the students was hurtling across the grass and the young girl flung her arms around his waist and he was nearly knocked over with the force of her hug. "Mein Gott! Annabel, are you alright?" "Yes...yes...we were just so scared when that scary man took you away!! You saved, Micah! Penny and Edmund are okay too. The curse wasn't as strong as the healers thought." The girl could not have been more than 11, and Jamie carefully lifted her up and looked at her. "I'm fine, Liebe. Vhy don't you go back to-"

A pair of hazel eyes gazed at Aleksandr and the little girl spoke up again. "Did you find Mister Rosenthal?" Jamie laughed. "He did. Zhis is Aleksandr, Annabel. Aleksandr, zhis is Annabel. Her brozer vas zee first student I trained to heal." The little girl rested her head on his shoulder, looking at Jamie expectently. "Vhat? Oh...I know vhat you vant."

In a smooth transition, the masculine features melted away, and made the easy transition to the curvaceous, petite feminine form. His hair sleekened and fastened behind his head, and his smell turned from that masculine smell to something of magnolias and vanilla. His eyes turned more feminine and his lashes lengthened. Finally, his voice came in a soft feminine tone, "Taa daa!"

The girl giggled and smiled, satisfied, before the petite redhead let her go on her way, looking back to Aleksandr with a grin on full lips. "I vill nefer understand vhy little girls so lofe zhis form. Efer. Anyvay. Did I efer finish vhat I vas saying?"

The white robes had floated about the slim form much like a dress would, and Jamie was really in no hurry to change back. "I vas tryink to say, again, zhat I sink I ahm fallink in lofe vis you. Howefer...if you do not feel zee same, its alright. I just felt zee...need to tell you." A slim arm wrapped about Aleksandr's arm and full lips smiled so adoringly up at him. He was so much taller than he was in this form, and he started leading him back toward the castle.

Though there was a part of him that had seriously become worried when he had come across the other male on his way to the castle. Had Jamie missed his mark by accident? Had he somehow been injured again during the apparation and that had caused his focus to waver? His eyes ran over the other's form quickly, checking quickly to make sure that he was not injured. " Jamie, vhat are you doing here? I thought that your destination vas the door to the castle? Did you get hurt again?" His eyes showed sheer concern for the male's well-being. It was funny how just the simple idea of the healer being hurt was enough to make all rational thinking fly out the window.

He knew that Jamie was a healer and could easily heal any wounds that he got. He knew that Jamie was strong enough to protect himself if need be and yet there was something in him that allowed him to forget all of that as pure panic clouded his mind each and every single time. It was amazing, just what caring for someone could do to him, just how being in love could affect him.

He was distracted when Jamie smiled at him again before beginning to speak again, trying to finish what he had been saying to him in the clearing, this time he had gotten further than he had before, telling him that he believed that he had fallen in love before they were interrupted by a small child, a female as she called out Jamie's surname and ran over to the man wrapping her arms around his waist and nearly knocking the man over with the force of her hug. He watched the interaction between the man and the child with a small smile, the smile growing as Jamie lifted the girl up in order to look her over and check for any wounds.

He was surprised when a pair of curious hazel eyes met his own icy ones for a moment before she asked the vampire if he had been the one to find Jamie. Aleksandr's smile grew as Jamie answered for him and he gave the girl a simple nod, confirming Jamie's story as the truth before watching the small interaction between the two mortals again, chuckeling quietly to himself when the young girl had gotten Jamie to shift between forms with just a simple gaze with those big hazel eyes. It was then and only then that the young girl was sastified enough to leave the two adults on their own.

" You are good vith children. You'd make a good parent some day." It was a simple statement, made by a simple observation but the smile and the soft look in the vampire's eyes showed him that he was nothing but sincere. He watched as the Metamorph smiled up at him with those lips saying that she did not understand why girls loved that form in particular before finally finishing what it was that Jamie had been trying to say to him before.

Jamie believed that he had fallen in love with him.

He looked down at Jamie with such a soft gaze, completely missing the bit where she had told him that it was alright if he did not return his feelings. He felt an arm wrap around his own and he was led forward to the castle for a bit before he willed his body to stop,and stopping the pair in their tracks. " Jamie...I do return your feelings. More than you could ever know. You have villingly done so much for me, you have saved my life in the past. You are the kindest, most gentle and giving person that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I vould be a fool not to return your emotions." Again Jamie was given a gentle smile, but this time it was paired with such a look of adoration and love, that it was almost as if Jamie was the only thing that Aleksandr saw, that she was the only thing in his world that mattered at that moment.

Slowly and gently, Aleksandr leaned down to press a gentle kiss to the woman's lips. It was gentle and it was sweet, filled to the brim with nothing but love. The kiss only lasted for a short moment before he pulled away from Jamie, smiling down at her as he breathed out in a gentle whisper; "Such is my love, to thee I so belong , That for thy right myself will bear all wrong." A gentle kiss was pressed to her forehead before he pulled away and began leading her back to the castle.

" Come now before Josef decided to come hunt us down."

As Aleksandr stopped her stride, Jamie looked up with a curious gaze etching over her doll-like face. At first, instinct would tell her that something was wrong, but the gaze that the vampire gave her made her heart leap from her chest and into her throat. As he spoke of returning her feelings, Jamie's mouth made to fall open in utter shock. How did she not see it? She had been oblivious to anything other than what was going on in her own little world again and it had kept her from noticing the vampire's adoring gazes. Perhaps it was that she thought she had been imagining those beautiful gazes.

With the press of his lips, Jamie felt her whole body fill with lightness and her soft fingers slid to caress the vampire's face with a delicate touch. Never had she felt such a draw to touch someone in her life as she did to Aleksandr. Holding him was akin to nothing, and she loved such feelings.

When his lips came away and he whispered to her a line from a sonnet, her heart swelled in her chest and before long, her lips parted to whisper a soft reply, "Hear my soul speak. Of the very instant that I saw you, Did my heart fly at your service."

They needed to get back, he was right. As they began the walk to the castle door, her hand slipped into that of the vampire and she looked up at him with a deeply admiring gaze that radiated the same love and adoration that the vampire showered upon her. It was liberating to figure out those wierd little feelings while he was able to. Hoever it was strange that she had to have been in danger to jar those feelings to words! Granted, he never did think well in a crisis.

Sef was pacing back and forth at the castle door when they came into view and for a moment, he looked bewildered. "Alek! What did you do with the kid?" Really, trading him in for a...decently hot woman? Huh. That's interesting. "And where in the hell did you find that?"

Jamie laughed, "Josef, come now. Surely, you can tell who I ahm."

Sef's eyes widened, "Fuck! Nice disguise, kid! Okay, now in the castle and don't you come out again until I come and get you."

Jamie pouted slightly, she didn't want to just sit in the castle, but she knew she had to. With a soft sigh of indignancy, she reluctantly left Aleksandr's side and moved toward the door, looking back at him with a look that screamed reluctance before she spoke again. "I vill see you again as soon as I can. Stay safe..." Her lips silently formed the word "love" before Sef all but pushed her into the door.

"No sense of urgency...none at all! Now. Let's get to London before those bastards leave for the day." With a pop, he was gone and hurtled to the Ministry.

He smiled softly at the mortal when the kiss had ended, leaning his face into her gentle touch and for a moment allowing his eyes to fall closed as he enjoyed the gentle caresses that were given to him. His eyes opened slowly when he heard her begin to reply to the sonnet line that he had given her and he smiled softly, his eyes shining brightly as he stared at her lovingly. His lips moved to press a gentle kiss to her cheek before pulling away from her and starting to lead her back to the castle rather reluctantly.

He did not want his time with her to end, but he knew that in order for her to be safe, in order for his love to remain protected, she needed to return to the castle and he to his job.

As they walked towards the castle door, he felt her hand slip into his and for a moment his eyes moved down to look at the female, a soft smile making it's way onto his face when he saw that she was staring up at him with the gaze that he had always looked at her with. A look filled to the brim with love and adoration, something that he would have never thought he would ever be lucky enough to see.

When the two of them finally made it to the castle door, they saw Josef pacing back and forth before stopping and giving the two of them a bewildered look. When he asked what he had done with Jamie and where he had found the woman that he was with, he simply gave the other a small smile, chuckling quietly when Jamie had spoken and his friend had figured out that the beautiful woman was really his new lover in another form. " Surely you know me better than that my friend. I vould never get over such a powerful crush so quickly..."

It was after he had said those words that Josef had ordered Jamie to go into the castle. His eyes moved to her, smiling and chuckling softly when he saw that she had pouted before following his orders, gazing up at the the vampire as he moved away reluctantly. " I vill be vaiting for you vith eager eyes and a heavy heart. Goodbye, stay safe. I vill hopefully see you soon." It was after that that she was pushed into the castle by Josef and he was told that they needed to get to the Ministry before they left for the day. It was then that Josef disappeared with a pop and Aleksandr followed after him, leaving the castle and the woman that he loved behind him.
