Sweet summer [Bella]

It was a sweet and simple moment between the two of them and yet Artemis honestly could not be any happier as he held Bella close to his form, swaying gently to the sound of the music that was playing softly in the background. Bella looked absolutely stunning underneath the lighting from the rides and the various other stands and he found that he simply could not look away from the beauty that was his Bella. Merlin, he wished that this night never had to end, wished that he could spend the rest of the night dancing with Bella in his arms just as he was at that beautiful and peaceful moment in time. Oh, he truly was going to miss Bella terribly until he was able to see her again! He really hoped that he wouldn't have to wait too long for them to see each other again! He didn't know how long he would be able to last without seeing or hearing from her!

When Bella told him that she had enjoyed their date, he couldn't help but smile happily. He was so glad that she had truly enjoyed herself on this date, as it truly had been a shot in the dark. He would be sure to try and find more things like this for the two of them to enjoy together in the future. Muggles had proven themselves to be quite successful in finding ways to entertain themselves that he couldn't help but wonder just what else was truly out there. " I really am glad that you enjoyed yourself love, I'll be sure to try and find other things like this for the two of us to do on dates later on. It might give us a chance to step out of our comfort zone and it would certainly be fun!"

It was immediately after those words had left his lips, he heard an unfamiliar pop fill the air, easily being heard over the music and suddenly all went quiet. Beautiful and quick flashes of bursting light filled the air with loud pops and Artemis stood there with his arms wrapped tightly around Bella, watching them with pure and utter fascination. He had never seen anything like it before and the fact that he was able to experience it with Bella made it that much more special for the lovestricken young man. When she said that she did not know how that evening could get any better, Artemis smiled nervously before pulling away from Bella, his hand reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small velvet box. He gently took Bella's hand into his own, getting her attention.

Smiling nervously at Bella, he opened the small box, revealing a beautiful ring that he had picked out specifically for her. " I-I know it's not much but I finally went out and bought you the promise ring that I promised to get you. I promise that the next ring will be better b-but I hope that you like this one." He gently took the ring out of it's box and slipped the ring onto her ring finger. " With this ring, I promise to be loyal to you and only you. I promise to be only yours and I promise that one day that I will take you as my wife."

Just when she thought it couldn't get more perfect, Artemis surprised her again. When he took a hold of her hand, she brought her attention down to him once more and when he opened the box in his hands, she audibly gasped. "Artemis..." However, she let him finish speaking as he slid the ring onto her finger and she felt her heart skip a beat. Oh, he couldn't have planned this moment better. Not at all.

"Oh, darling, I love it. You did so well!" She smiled and gazed up at him warmly. The stones matched her eyes and she felt the blush on her cheeks rise up in the lights of the fireworks. "I love it, darling. And I love you. I promise when the time comes, I will be the best wife I can be for you. I'll always be loyal to you, faithful to you, and Merlin knows I'll always love you." Her arms wrapped around his neck and she pressed a chaste kiss to his soft lips, a gesture that to this day made her heart erupt in butterflies.

She looked into those beautiful brown eyes and sighed so contentedly that she felt as if she were dreaming. She had not seen this coming at all, and he had been very in control of his nerves this time and she'd not picked up on any change in his mannerisms to suggest he had something planned. The surprise was perfectly executed, something she enjoyed immensely. Oh, her mother was going to be beside herself. She was very lucky that her mom adored Artemis, even Auror Finnegan liked him being near her and that was saying something. She only hoped that she was able to please his parents enough to make their relationship that much easier.

"I just hope your parents don't mind me too much."

The fear and nervousness that he had felt when revealing the ring to her were instantly lost the second that he saw her reaction to her present. Relief washed over his form and he gave Bella a small smile as she praised him in his choice of ring. He truly had been terrified that she would not like the ring as he had chosen it without any help from his sister or his adoptive mother. He had been worried that perhaps his choice in jewelry would not suit Bella despite the careful time and consideration that he had put into choosing what he believed to be the proper ring. In the end, he had chosen the one that he believed suited her the most, an emerald heart ring that he had noticed matched her eyes perfectly.

Merlin, he was so happy that she liked it.

" I really am happy that you like it Bella. It took me a while to find one that I thought suited you perfectly and even then I was still nervous to give it to you! I was so scared that you wouldn't like it." When Bella placed the gentle kiss to his lips he responded almost immediately, his hands moving to gently cradle the face of the person who would become his wife in the future as he kissed her, sighing happily at the feeling of pure joy that he currently felt at the moment.

" I will always love you too Bella. No matter what. I know that you will be an absolutely amazing wife and I promise you that I will do my best to be a perfect husband to you in the future. I promise that I will do my absolute best to make you happy every single day for the rest of our lives together, nothing can and ever will change that. Of course my parents will like you Bella, they'd have to be crazy not to!" Even if they didn't, that wouldn't change a single thing. He would be with Bella no matter what. He would marry her no matter what.

If they didn't like it then they would just have to get over it.
