Vincent had been forced to head to the Library to pick up a couple of books when the Librarian went on one of her rampages, scattering students and putting them at different tables. Avoiding her gaze was tough as his hair tended to draw attention so he ducked into one row of books which was no where near he wanted to be to get out of direct vision. Making his way around he arrived on the other shelf over from clearly a first time encounter between a pair of students. The girl had clearly been faced with a spider, something which made Vincent chuckle soundlessly as he knelt down to find the books he needed on the intelligence of spell-animated objects when he realized he knew the other voice.
Frowning, he paid more attention to the words and realized he was hearing Cerneus-whatever, Keela's younger brother. That shock turned to a smile, then grin, then his hand over his mouth to stop the laughter at one of the most bumbling conversations he had ever heard! If any girl had told Vincent he was handsome (several had) he would have turned on the charm immediately to snag that one's attention as completely as possible. Clearly, he concluded as he tried to slow his breathing to contain the burst of laughter he was feeling, these two were both virgins. Cern's stumbling response to being called handsome gave him ideas for what he could tell Keela, tease her he had knowledge she would want and would have to trade him for, possibly so far as another kiss maybe?
Ah gods above this was priceless!
Sitting down cross-legged on the floor, Vincent's eyes passed over the books he wanted as he listened, greatly amused. Newbies at romance, so preciously cute and fumbling. He would have already fed her a line about her hair or the smell of her being so close and closed for an attempted kiss of her cheek, usually enough to make most girls swoon for the first time. From there it wasn't much difficulty to get them in your arms in a dark corner. Where you took it from there was up to the girl and the moment, but Vin had found it worked well either way. Most girls once their physical switches were turned on were intensely interested in follow up later. Still, as a guy he felt actually sorry Cern wasn't doing better; if he did succeed in getting a girl for a date he'd probably stop bugging his sister about staying away from Vincent.
Pulling out a piece of paper, he wrote something in big letters on it and tried to remember the charm they had found useful for those roll-up party favor things. It had been a big joke at the time, but he had suddenly thought of a good use for it, helping a boy get laid possibly and totally distracted. Rolling up the paper, Vin slowly rose keeping his head down and spied enough to figure out where her back was and moved down another stack. Holding up the paper roll by one end, he snuck his hand through the shelves and prepare to whisper the spell softly...
