After Hours (Cern/Lili)

Cern had heard once about the fact in Holland in the winter time they had a river which froze so solid, every few years when it was thick enough they had an eleven city ice skating race down it with hundreds upon hundreds! He'd always thought it would be cool to see cause surely every foot of that river would be in a different shape and texture! "Ice skating would be great, I've never seen it except inside in the rinks, not outside." And having someone to make memories with was an attractive thought indeed.

"The Library would be fine with me, but now that things are getting quieter in here..." Cern grabbed her around the waist and pulled her backwards onto the couch with him, his hand trying to get a secondary grip on her legs and instead slid up the length of it, tantalizing so! "I think I should help you get undressed and then you can put on something really light and then normal clothes over it for warmth. That way if later we decide to change plans, say in the back of the Library, we can without further restraint..."

The thought of doing something under the Librarian's nose brought about an odd response in his mind; he wasn't sure yet how to deal with that.

"Hey now," he said as she kissed and thanked him, "I was under the impression boyfriends were supposed to take care of their girlfriends! Or was I told wrong? Nah, nevermind I don't care. I've seen what you did on the stairs, I'm not letting you go around hurting yourself if I can help out." He still wasn't clear how she had gotten hurt last night.

"Well, how do you want to go my darling? I can't unfortunately follow you into your dorm like you did mine..."

Lili giggled as they toppled back onto the couch, falling against him and smiling brightly. "Oh, really, you want to help me get undressed? Naughty boy." She winked wickedly and straightened up on his frame. "Well, my sweet Cern, as a Prefect...you know I can't allow you in the girl's dorm anyway. However," she whispered playfully, "There's nothing to keep me out of your dorm to ensure that you are behaving yourself."

With that, she got off the couch and ran up to the girl's dorm and grabbed a mix of clothes that would seem odd to most, but it was her general casual 'walking around the castle' attire. Which consisted of a dress, black leggings, and a long, white hooded sweatshirt to cover the dress. She really (honest!) dressed like that. Trying to balance being a responsible Prefect and a curious teenager was difficult! How did anyone do this?

Sneakily. Well, didn't it almost have to be? There had to be something!

With the thought in mind, she moved back over to the boys' dorm and peeked into the door...

He grinned at her not missing the fact sh didn't even consider trying to move out of his arms. "Moi? Naughty? By no means! I am trying to be a good boyfriend and help you to accomplish tasks much easier and faster, like getting undressed." He laughed out loud, knowing she would see right through him. She told him about how her prefect duties would prevent her from doing certain things, but then added something else on quietly.

"Oh and I will need watching that's for sure. I can only imagine how bad I might become. But surely with you keeping a close and constant guard on me I will be straightened out. Eventually. it will be an epic challenge and you're good at those, right?" With that answer she ran off back to her own dorm. Cern, not needing to get dressed again, Walked back over to his side and caught up a sweatshirt in case they went out, tying it around his waist and tucking the sleeve ends into his front pockets.

Done, he was turning to head back out when he saw her peek in and gave her a smile. "Why, there you are princess!" He ran to the door and bowed taking her hand. ""Welcome to my humble abode. The two snorers are David and Lothianm the other beds belong to those already out and this place you have never seen before, he said patting the spot beside him as he sat down, "is the spot I dream about you from."

She smiled and perched, not next to him but on his lap. "Right here you dream of me? I feel so special. You know that?" The smile that took over her face was almost ridiculously bright as she shrugged off her uniform jacket and lay it next to them. Soon after, her arms looped easily around his neck and trailed her fingers along the back of his neck. "You're so silly, you goofy badger. But, I love that about you."

She liked being here on his lap and softly nuzzled his nose with hers before she leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips. The urge to do more bubbled up in her as she rested there and she gave him a soft smile before she leaned against his torso and brought him a slow, deep kiss. For a moment, she debated a kiss that they had never tried before before carefully passing the tip her tongue over his lower lip. The sensation was akin to fireworks in her blood, but she wondered how he would react to such a thing.

There was no doubt there was mutual attraction on both sides and while he had been very nervous at first, Cern was finding it easier to play with her verbally like he did with his sister. She was able to roll with it, not taking it personally when he teased and that made her all the more attractive to him actually. He'd seen and heard the whiny girls after their guys to do things they wanted and such and he did not want that type of relationship. Lili's very easy going nature made it easy for him to fall for her more and faster as she seemed the perfect sort of girl for him!

And she seemed only vaguely aware of what she did to draw him really, sitting on his lap without a second thought, tossing off a layer of clothes, and wearing the type of stuff he would have thought of as provocative indeed! "I want you to feel special, Lili, cause you are!" She raised the goosebumps on his neck with her fingers and his heart beat a little faster. Was this it? Was it going to happen this time? Even with snoring roommates? "I think it's you, actually, making me want to be silly, more fun for you to be around."

She leaned in and gave him a brief kiss, a soft one and his lips pursued her as she pulled back some. Every taste of her he found himself wanting more, to remember her better, to know her scent and taste like his own. This urge was building more with each of these fun times they had, getting braver each and every time. She leaned into him more and he managed a "Yes..." as she kissed him again, far deeper then the first and he joined her with equal eagerness! His hands ran up her back, splayed open covering as much of her as possible and learning by touch she was wearing layers.

And then came a new surprise as she slowly ran her tongue over his lip and his eyes (though closed) showed his surprise. He hadn't realized the tongue could be used in a kiss actually, but now that it had been done he trembled, feeling the power that was in it. Cern knew himself to be in trouble; too much more pleasure like this and he was going to chain himself to her so she couldn't ever leave... Carefully so, he dared to bring his own tongue up and touched her upper lip, wondering if it went both ways.

To say that she was dumbfounded at the profound reaction that her body created with the slightest brush of his tongue was an understatement. Fireworks were going off in her blood and her heart sped up in her chest. It was an entirely different sort of magic at work here. They had said that love (true love, not sheer lust) was the most powerful magic in the world.

Though, within the teenager's mind, she wasn't sure if this was real or if it was simply lust. She had seen a show once that said something or other about how women and men gained those feelings differently...or whatever. It wasn't important then.

It was, however, the accidental touching of tongues that set off a fire in the back of her mind. Dear...Gods. Her initial response was press flush to his frame and do it again. The desire was there, one could almost smell it in the air, but after a moment she leaned back and only undid the buttons on the button down shirt and playfully getting up before the skirt would follow, but before his hands could follow, the dress was slid on in their place. Teasing? Yes. She may have been his girlfriend, but...as a Prefect...shagging her boyfriend would have been endangering them both. Unless of course they were someplace that no one could see or hear about it, and frankly, she didn't know where that was.

Black lace against her skin was more enticing than the cotton undergarments, a stunning black on white effect. She'd let him look for a moment longer before the rest of the clothes came on, covering that dress completely. It was their little secret. "I don't want you to think that I don't want you...because I do! Every time you kiss me, tease me, look at me like you do, I'm like jell-o! I love it! But this... She pointed to the Prefect badge that had magically appeared on her hoodie. "Means we're going to have to be careful. People are looking to the Prefects and the Head Boy and Girl to set up and organize the Yule Ball. After the Ball, things will calm down and then..."

Meanwhile, those chocolates in her trunk were getting all the stronger. One chocolate now would lead to an obsessive, permanent state.

Sensations. Wow, one could study it for years and be as flummoxed as he felt with no knowledge and experiencing it for the first time! He'd been living in his body all his life and felt like he should step out long enough to point back and say sternly to the universe "Hey! How come I wasn't told it could do that?!?!" Honestly, he would have pursued this much faster had he only known! She reacted about as he felt too so he figured she had experimented on something she had heard about and neither of them had known. "Jeeze, Lili," he panted as they broke before getting some breath back in his lungs, "did you know that would happen??"

While he was still wobbling from the physical sensations, then she surprised him with a view of what she was wearing underneath it all and the idea was enough to make his brain go fuzzy! Staggering under the mental one-two punch, he flopped back on his bed as she spoke about dangers of being a prefect and other such. Only a few words sank in as he tried to get control over certain parts of himself again, especially his brain. Yule? He had to wait till Yule? Did she have any idea how much control that was going to take or was this a test?? "You've got to be kidding me! Do you realize how long that is?" He did a rapid calculation and said "That's a million minutes from now!"

Giving her a disbelieving look, he knew he had to impact on her how much a struggle this was going to be. "All right then! But if I'm going to be holding myself in check that long, I want a reward to keep me remembering what it's all for." A glance down her frame quite openly and he knew that he would keep going just fine as long as he saw her frequently, but still the point was important to him. "Like, some kind of personal attention everyday till then! You can be inventive if you want, but I don't think you understand the forces at work here and how much this is going to take..."

After all, he knew from his father that male and female had different ways of feeling and build up in this situation, but he had a feeling he wasn't alone in belief that the guys had it the most intensive. Not that a woman would probably agree, but she had been the one to set a date on this!

Lili giggled as he flopped back. Honestly, she did feel bad for him this time. As he spoke, she maneuvered to look down at him, knees on either side of him. "You drive a hard bargain, baby. But, it's worth it." She smiled, and softly kissed his lips, then his neck softly.

She let her weight press against him, only for a moment before saying, "Library. If my books are there...then they should be picked up."

Ugh! Why did she choose being responsible? She didn't want to be responsible! She wanted to make dumb decisions like every other teen. She was 15 and a whirlwind of feelings, most of which she didn't understand. Not yet anyway.

Slightly shaking fingers grazed down his chest as she knealt upright, she was surprised over the control she had to not go back on her duties to uphold the rules. But, she wasn't sure how long her brain could win this battle.

At least his girlfriend was sympathetic, knowing this was going to be mostly on his end for the resisting. But still, the idea of being near her that long and not... whoa. "Well then I'll do my best. Have to keep that badge you've got well polished and free from tarnish after all. By the way, can I tell you how proud I am of you getting that?" He sat up and pulled her into a hug, not a romantic one this time but a happy rewarding type. "It makes me proud to see you up there, representing us all! I'll make you proud if you can keep me on track."

With a sigh he kissed her cheek and said softly "Library. Right. Up and at 'em. This is me walking to the door, this is me being good... He waited till she was up and then he stood, slipping an arm around her waist. Possessive? Maybe a bit. He had found someone too good for him and he thought that if everyone saw him around her so much they might give up trying to take her away from him! "Okay. Let's go before I lose my will to resist."

"Ah wait! I've got it!" Putting his other hand over to hold her chin still he stuck his nose deep in her hair and took in an exaggerated breath of air through his nose before giving out a deep sigh. Standing up straighter he made a point of walking briskly pulling her along hand still on her waist. "Okay that did it. I can keep going for awhile now," as if she was some drug he needed to keep going!

Inwardly he wondered at all the changes in the last couple of weeks. He was normally much quieter, not so vocal, and never this...outgoing was probably the word. Was this all because of her? Kind of had to be. Or maybe she was just the catalyst for making him want to do those things, be that way? As long as he wasn't just trying to show off, that is. Cern didn't want to be fake or anything like that, he wanted to be himself and if this was him with Lili... well then he was liking himself a lot more these days!

Now, she had to laugh. As he took a deep breath off her hair, she started to giggle almost incessantly. "Oh my gosh, you goof! You're so silly! But, that's part of why I love you." She laughed and followed him into the common room and out of the portrait hole. The castle was quiet, save for the random splotches of conversation. Suddenly she blinked and asked, "Hey, baby, do you think that since I'm a Prefect, that I could get them into trouble for attacking me? I had good reason to be out..."

Not that she wanted to get them into trouble, but still!

She'd ponder on that as they went up to the Library, one of the shelves was still toppled over and books laying scattered all over the floor. The Librarian looked flustered as she picked up the books. "Here, let me help you, ma'am. You've got more important things to do, I'm sure." She started picking up books, setting them in neat stacks according to subject. There were sections of wood splintered off the shelves and she realized now where her head had hit it.

"Hm, it didn't feel all that bad last night." She uttered darkly, a tone that was most foreign in her mouth.

Despite his internal thoughts about how he was changing and acting more open, he could not help but feel a little thrill whenever she said she loved him. Maybe it was a casual use, but he liked hearing it a lot! He grinned and as they walked he enjoyed the feeling of having his arm around her waist; it felt very natural, very right. This dating stuff was feeling more and more to him as if it was off the top of one's head, no plans at all.

"Well....you said it was who again?" After she told him, he thought for a moment as they walked, not sure how that would play out. "I'd suspect they would use their position to shield themselves or discredit you. If your stuff is missing you can probably get the Librarian after them, but I don't know if I would push it. They might make things much tougher..." They reached the Library where things had gone apparently more wrong then the impression he had had!

As she helped with the books, Cern looked at the bookcase and saw the chip out of it, but saw nothing that looked like books at a table or nearby the area. When she spoke about the shelf he flipped to her, suddenly concerned. "Hey, you didn't say anything about that! I thought you only hurt your face!" He went immediately to her and looked at her suspiciously like she had been hiding something from him. If she had a wound and had forgotten it he was going to be amazed because that was a healthy chunk of wood out of the case.

The Librarian used her wand to level the cases back up and the books went on shelves quick enough, She had been mostly surprised at the treatment of the books overnight which is why she had been slow getting started. Once she got into it her wand had everything much better in no time and she looked far more cheerful, if suspicious of who had done this.

How he rushed to her, that face screaming volumes of concern.

But, it was after the books were picked up and placed back in the proper spots that she turned to him. "I'm fine, I think. There's no need to worry." She was happy that he cared enough to ask, but right now, she was worried about her books. There were notes in there on that herb for Madame Pomfrey and the book was not anywhere in sight. Wonderful.

She sat down as the chair she'd been sitting at, looking down at the table for a moment. "Well, they're gone. Imagine. I'm going to go talk to the Librarian. Hang out here for a second, okay baby?"

A soft, gentle kiss was pressed to his lips before she turned and headed to the desk. As she walked away to the desk, a snickering blonde with the coldest eyes that anyone had ever seen came sidling up to Cern.

"You know she's not going to give it up, don't you? She's just going to tease until there's no relief in sight. Being with her, you might as well be with your hand. You'll get more action." Her finger found the indent of his chest muscles and she outlined it with a rising brow. "I could take care of that for you, sexy...and it'd be the best time you ever had.

In the surprised pause, her fingers trailed down his hips with the hint of a promise somewhere in those icy eyes. But the next sound wasn't from her. It was something of a shattered breath, then receding footsteps. A slight flair of pink escaping to the stair case.

With her job done, the blonde laughed in a most cruel tone. "She's so easy to fool it's almost un-funny. Perti, she heard it alright." The girls were in the grips of howls of laughter, using each other for support. "Teach her to take points from us! Oh, you should have kissed him! That might have made her cry!" More laughter. Then they walked off, satisfied with their work.

Meanwhile, Lili remained out of sight for the remainder of the day and no one seemed to know where she'd vanished to. She was no where where she normally would have been, and no amount of searching turned up any glimpse of her.

It grew dark outside swiftly, and the night proved to be a beautiful one. Perhaps she would be found in the Tower...

Cern, distracted by the thought that Lili might be hurt and not be aware, was not appeased easily. "Let me see your head! You might not realize..." but she was more concerned with the missing items then with her own head silly girl! "All right, but don't be long! And I still want to check your head or at least get you to the nurse, I don't give up that easily." It was but a moment before she gave him a kiss (which he returned though it was just a peck) and went off to get the Librarian's attention who had just returned to her desk. It was at that moment an evil thought by two other girls caught him off guard.

His head snapped around at the words, both surprised and offended that they were talking about Liliane that way. He hadn't even had a chance to say anything before one of them touched him where he didn't want them to and he broke off his words as he pulled back in disgust! By then it was too late as he heard the gasp, they all three looked instinctively and saw her fleeing. He stepped forward heedless of the Librarian's rules as he shouted "LILI!" But she was gone having jumped to conclusions she should never have!

The two b-- witches continued chortling and Cern infuriated turned on them pulling out her wand as he continued. "YOU HURT HER!" and began shooting hexes and jinx's on the two startled teens. "Locomotor Wibbly! Tetendi! Bucca Claudis! Tarantallegra!" The two Slytherins startled (who thought the quiet boy would ever be aggressive?) fell apart grabbing wands, but he managed to hit both of them once before they started shielding!

The Librarian fell upon them rapidly...
