Alleyne had headed down to the lake that afternoon for one reason really, she was bored out of her mind. She didn't have the muse to sit and write, so instead she decided to go sit by the lake and just hang out in the sun, since it was an unusually warm afternoon for November. As she drew closer to the lake, she glanced over at the Durmstrang ship and allowed a small half smile to form on her face, as far as she'd seen so far, some of those Durmstrang boys were really nice to look at. More than just nice to look at honestly, a lot of them were just plain delectable, not that she'd ever approached any of them. No, Alley preferred to just watch and admire from afar, if one of them decided to approach her, then so be it, but she wasn't going to chase them, not like some of the other dense love sick girls she'd seen stalking their ship like swooning groupies.
She finally reached her favorite spot on the shore of the lake, it was a large rock just near the edge of the water where she liked to just sit and stare at the water, and the sky, and everything else around. Dropping her bag on the ground next to the rock, she sat on the rock, and laying back folded her arms behind her head, and folded her legs up on the rock, as she stared up at the sky. It was surprisingly clear out today, no sign of snow or rain, and the sun was shining. Alley loved the feeling of the sun on her face, but closed her eyes so the rays didn't hurt them. This was so peaceful, she could lie there all day and never move, though she realized eventually she would have to.
