Icy blue eyes stared blankly at the note that had been handed to her by one of her fellow Ravenclaws. It had apparently been sent by the Transfiguration professor, and upon taking the note and carefully reading the contents that lie within, requested that she meet him at the classroom for a " private discussion of the upmost importance." Her eyes narrowed in suspicion upon reading the words. What would the man want to tell her in private that he could not tell her in the company of others?
Why did he need to see her all of a sudden, and why would he want to speak with her of all people? These questions, and more raced through her mind as she tugged on her jacket and for an instant she almost decided not to go.
There was something not quite right about this situation, and she did not feel comfortable about being in a room alone with that man. He was dangerous, he was deadly. There was something about him, something that seemed to speak of nothing but death. Rumors were spread about the man, speaking soft whispers, saying that he was a huge fan of the Dark Arts, and that he would be one of the first to join the side of darkness if such a chance ever came again.
This sort of chat was something that the young Demetriou female usually chose to ignore, but in this case the man in question was so dark, so deadly that it almost made perfect sense. Everything that was being said about him was logical, and it almost made her believe in the rumors, and yet there was one thing that stopped her.
The Headmistress. She would never have hired someone so dark, so dangerous to be in a place of power over the students that lived, and learned at the school. She was positive that there had to be some sort of process, some sort of way that the Headmistress was able to tell weither or not an applicant was safe or not. It was that thinking, that trust in the headmistress that cleared Luna's mind, and made her decision for her.
Tugging on her jacket, and informing her twin just where it was that she was going she left the safety of the Ravenclaw common room and made her way to the Transfiguration Classroom. Her hand was in her pocket with a tight grip on her wand in case she needed to protect herself during their little conference.
As she made her way through the halls she was surprised when a form bumped into her so hard that it made her stumble back a few ppaces in order to steady herself. Her eyes glanced up to meet a pair of darkened blue eyes, and hers narrowed immediately when she realized that Matthias Ojanpera had been the one to bump into her.
The boy looked at her with a dark, calculating gaze before his head tilted to the side and a disturbingly sweet smile made it's way on his face. He stepped to the side, and made his way around the girl walking off at a leisurely pace, his head turned at an angle so that a single blue eye could stare at her as he walked away.
Luna's eyes never left his form, waiting until the boy had been out of her sight for at least five minutes before turning away and resuming her trip, thoroughly unsettled.
Matthias had been coming from the exact same direction where she was heading. She was almost positive that he had seen the Transfiguration professor as well, and Matthias looked even more disturbed then normal.
Again, her instincts were screaming at her to turn and go back the way that she had come, and yet again she ignored them as she continued on her way. It would be a few moments before she had settled in front of the Transfiguration classroom, eying the door blankly before pushing it open, stepping into the room quietly while being sure not to close the door behind her in case she needed to escape. Much to her displeasure, the only light in the room came from a very few lit candles that were placed on something that was on the opposite side of the room that she was currently standing. Eyes narrowed, she drew her wand.
" Lumos Maximus."
The spell was uttered in a very quiet whisper, and light burst from the tip of her wand, filling the room. With a quick glance around the room, she frowned. The Transfiguration professor was nowhere to be seen. So turning away from the classroom, and getting ready to leave she was stopped by the form of the professor who was standing in the doorway, blocking her exit. Glancing up calmly not daring to show even the slightest bit of her uneasiness to the older man, she gave him a cold and even stare.
" You called for me professor?"
