HAIR AND FACE:::
• Erik has dark brown hair that he keeps short. While it usually is kept nice, and tidy there will be days where he can’t be bothered to brush it properly due to laziness, it is left in a very messy bedhead kind of style that fits his laid back personality rather well.


• Erik’s skin is a healthy color that is in between being tanned and fair skinned. He has a very slight mustache and the very beginnings of a beard that he keeps tidy, and well trimmed on his face. He has an average nose, and a normal set of lips. The features that stand out the most, are his striking green eyes, and his smile.

• His eyes are a beautiful shade of green, ones that manage to draw in the person that he is talking to be it a student, or one of his fellow professors. His eyes hold a certain type of seductiveness, teasing and beckoning to whomever it is that he is talking to, welcoming them to get lost in their depths.

• His smile has been said to be much more of a smirk then an actual smile. His full pink lips turn up in the very slightest when he is amused. No one other then a very select few of his past students has ever seen his true smile.

• Losing his ability to sing and hear. He knows that it is a silly, and shallow fear but music truly is his life. It is the one thing that comforts him, and the one thing that he knows that he is talented at. He would be lost without his music.

• The feeling he had when he found out that a stalker who had been waiting for his friend outside of her apartment had attacked and killed her. Erik had been the one to drive her home that night and still believes that if he had taken the time to walk her to her front door, he could have saved her.

PERSONALITY:::

• Erik as a child was quite different from how he is now. As a child he was quiet, and self-conscious due to him always being slightly bigger then his classmates. He was clumsy and awkward, and as a result only made one very close friend through his entire seven years at Hogwarts. She would be the one who would introduce him to the world of music.

• When he left Hogwarts that was when he started becoming a more open person. After all, he would have to become a different man to win over the directors and win the parts. He would have to become someone that would appeal to his would be employers, and would help him get jobs. He pushed himself out of his comfort zone, and forced himself to be charming, and charismatic. He forced himself to be funny, and witty.

• As time went on, and he got more and more job offers, this became less of an act, and he even began to develop more of his own personality since was now more confident in himself, and his abilities, and knew that he had the talent needed to succeed. He casted out his innocent good boy image that he had started out with, into something he felt much more comfortable with. While he was still was very charming, he was now more reserved and mysterious. He casted out his blushing virgin act into someone more teasing, and seductive. Something that would make him more desirable.

• Now that Erik is back at Hogwarts, he has more or less toned down the bad boy that he had once been known for. He still loves to go out to a bar and drink the night away when he knows that he has no class the next day. He still loves to tease people to see their reactions, yet now he knows where to draw the line, however the only people who get to see his teasing, funnier and more caring side of him, are the people that have managed to earn his friendship. With others he is very reserved and can be a bit of a jackass at first.

HISTORY:::

Erik was born to a pureblood father and a muggle mother as their firstborn child. However unlike many, his childhood was far from happy. Both of his parents were cold and cruel to him even back when he was very young. They were mentally and emotionally abusive to the young boy, often telling their son that he would amount to nothing and that he was worthless. Eventually, he was told that enough times that he began to believe that what his parents said was true. This cycle continued on and on until Erik received his acceptance letter, and he was eagerly shipped off to Hogwarts.

On the train, he was bumped into and knocked down onto the ground by someone. When he reached up, and took the hand of the person who had knocked him down, he realized that the person was a very young, and pretty girl. The girl had introduced herself as Nicolette and told him that she loved his eyes, before dragging him off to sit with her in an empty compartment. That would be the very beginning of his very first friendship. Much to their misfortune they would be separated when being sorted; Nicolette would be placed in Hufflepuff, while Erik himself would be placed in Slytherin. Despite this, they would keep their friendship going strong.

Nicolette would be the one who would first introduce Erik to the world of music. Nicolette would teach him how to sing and act, how to write, and read music, and how to play piano. She would teach him everything that she could about music, and everything that she could about life. She was the one that helped Erik come out of his shell. She would become his reason for living, and his reason for singing. He wanted nothing more then to make her proud of him.

The two would stay in Hogwarts, both secretly dreaming of leaving the wizard world in favor of following their dreams to be in theatre. They would plan, and save up money that they would both would receive from their parents, or from odd jobs done over the summer until finally in their seventh year they had enough to run away. They waited until the night of their graduation, and both ran off together. They rented a small apartment, and lived together for a small point in time. Until Nicolette had enough money to afford an apartment of her own, and left Erik. The two would lose contact with each other for a time after this.

Erik for a point in time had a very hard time landing roles. The ones he originally did land were either chorus parts, or ones that had very small parts in the plays. Erik had to pick up other small part time jobs in order to pay for his rent, and to be able to support him. It would be while singing at an upper class steakhouse that his luck would finally start to turn around.


He had gotten tricked into taking over another singer’s shift at the steakhouse, and had just begun singing. A half-hour into his shift, he had been stopped by the manager, and taken to the back of the restaurant. Erik had been nervously following after his boss, worried that he was going to be scolded or fired. He was surprised to find two men waiting there for him. They introduced themselves as the directors a musical that would be opening up soon in London, asked if he could act, and whisked him off. The play turned out to be the notorious Don Juan, and the part that Erik would be trying out for was none other then Don Juan. By some miracle Erik received a callback, and ultimately the part of Don Juan himself. This would be the start of his career.

After the play had finished it’s run in London, Erik and his directors had parted ways, but not before he had gotten some pleasant news from them. They had set up an audition for him for another play that was coming to London; all Erik had to do was go and audition. It was that kindness, which would encourage and motivate the man to continue on the path that he loved.


Nine years would pass, and Erik had had the privilege of playing very renowned parts. He would have such roles as the Beast from Beauty and The Beast, Lestat from Lestat, Tarzan from Tarzan, and quite a few other roles on top of that, but only one would really speak to him. When he received the part of Erik from The Phantom of the Opera that was the point when he felt like he really succeeded. Much to his pleasant surprise, this would also be when he would come back into contact with Nicolette, as she was to be his Christine. Things finally seemed to be going right for Erik, and he couldn’t be happier.

As the two worked together on the play, Erik found himself falling in love with his childhood friend, but kept his feelings hidden from her, expecting nothing but rejection from such an amazing, and beautiful woman. As time went on, and it became more apparent that Nicolette returned his affections, Erik slowly gained the courage to confess. That courage was doubled when the directors of Phantom announced that they would also be doing Love Never Dies, and all of the original cast were invited to keep their parts in the sequel. Both of them agreed to go on, and do Love Never Dies, and Erik had planned to confess to Nicolette the next morning at the practice for Love Never Dies. He never got the chance.

Nicolette had been attacked, and killed by a male stalker almost immediately after Erik had dropped her off. She was found by a fellow cast mate that had come to walk her to practice the next morning and was announced dead shortly after. Erik had been heartbroken and devastated when he found out. He quit the musical, refusing to go on with another Christine, and left the musical business all together.

From then on, he would work as a vocal coach instructing in small, specialized groups. Eventually that proved not to be enough for him, yet he refused to go back to preforming. One day, he had read an add for a open position as the music professor at Hogwarts, it paid well and he would be able to teach in a more interesting environment, so he wrote to the headmaster, and after proving that he was who he said that he was, he was accepted, and returned to Hogwarts where he is now the professor.
