``Genevieve Slade Burke
THE SOUND OF ROLLIN' DICE TO ME
is music in the air, although I don't play fair,
IT'S MUCH MORE FUN WITH LIVES ON THE LINE

A lazy day, Genevieve walked to the front lawn and then turned right towards the whomping willow, finding few headed that way and it made for quieter confines then many places on the lawn. The day was overcast, but the sun came out in a few places on and off, enough for her tastes at least. There were some rocks (commonly refereed to as boulders, but she said what she felt like calling them) and she chose one that had a semi flat top on it, though at an angle and tossed her cloak down on it. Putting her bag at one end of it for easy reach, Gene laid herself face down on her cloak and pulled out a book and her sunglasses.
Opening the book (a book from the restricted section she had permission for from a Professor on dissection as it described more details about skin and hair) she laid in front of her, and then pulled her shirt up a bit so she could feel the sun on it when it did come out. With an afterthought, her skin became a bit darker tan then her normal suggesting that everything under the shirt had no tan lines (which it didn't, but she normally had fairly pale skin). Reading the book, chin on her hands in front of her giving her the height she wanted, Gene slowly bent up her legs behind her, enjoying the freedom to do so without a skirt on. Her shorts covered plenty and the wind on her legs felt good indeed.
A smack sound on the next nearest rock made her give the tree a lazy glance and say "Eh, I'm outta reach and you know it. Just deal with it. I'm not messing with you, you're just pissy." She turned back to her book, frustrating the tree which went back to pensiveness before smacking a bird out of the air in annoyance. Why it objected to anything being nearby she didn't know, but the tree definitely had the air of something which hated every living things and quite a few non-living ones too she suspected. Momentarily she looked up again, wondering what the tree had done during the battle of Hogwarts and if anything had been stupid enough to get near it...
