After the Battle of Hogwarts, balance had been restored to the wizarding world and Voldermort had perished just like the prophecy foretold--by the hand of the only wizard to have ever been able to defeat him, Harry Potter. Voldermort's followers either perished in the battle by the hands of the order or were subjectively arrested and placed in Azkaban to waste away for the rest of their years. Nineteen years later, the children who had fought at the Battle of Hogwarts have finally come of age to join Hogwarts themselves, and the world--though peaceful--is beginning to become upset again.

To keep things moving along on the academic front, I will be keeping Class threads and Assignment threads separate from now on. This is to have the classes essentially done when assignments are done as class threads are more for interaction than anything. You can, however, award your house points for posting in the Class thread as well as the Assignment thread. Here is how the points award system will work:
For the Assignment Thread
-Posting automatically awards your house 5 points. -First Poster automatically awards their house an additional 15 points. -Second Poster automatically awards their house an additional 10 points. -Third Poster automatically awards their house an additional 5 points. -Accurate posts awards their house an additional 5 points.
The most points that can be accrued: 25 points
For the Class Thread
-Posting automatically awards your house 5 points. -First Poster automatically awards their house an additional 15 points. -Second Poster automatically awards their house an additional 10 points. -Third Poster automatically awards their house an additional 5 points. -Any post after your first initial post awards your house an additional 2 points.
The most points that can be accrued: 20+ points
Combined: 45+ points
IMPORTANT: While you can go without posting in the Class Thread, failure to post your finished Assignment in the appropriate Assignment Thread will give you an automatic failure and your house will lose 10 points. Failure to post half of the total Assignments, and you fail the class with a T(roll) grade.

PotterheadPisces: My wand (according to Pottermore) is Vine wood with a unicorn hair core, ten inches, and "slightly yielding flexibility." Probably not much of a surprise, the Pottermore house quiz put me in Hufflepuff, so the fact that I had this specific wand makes sense
