“Welcome to Art Studies. I'm your instructor. You will refer to me as Professor Kuang at all times, or Madame Kuang if you feel the need for something resembling a nickname. In this class we will be focusing on all art types, muggle and magical, and their effect on society as we know it. You will learn about many witches and wizards, some of whom artistic abilities have crossed over into the Muggle world, as well at the master of Muggle art. You will learn the basics of drawing, painting, acting, dance, and anything else we may have time for. If you are not comfortable with this I suggest you leave now.
I expect the very best of my students. Keep this in mind while you do your coursework. Nothing sub-par will be accepted. I will, of course, take each of your abilities into consideration while grading and your progress will determine if you pass or fail.
I have quite a bit of experience in the arts so any questions you may have I will certainly answer to the best of my ability. My specialty is dance and opera, having been performing with major opera companies since I was 16, but I have come in contact with almost every branch of art throughout the years so do not be afraid to ask.”
