It was a beautiful and warm spring afternoon at Hogwarts, a certain young burman lay out on a stone bench in the middle of the courtyards spread out to catch some of the warm rays of the sun while he could. His blue eyes were closed, giving the seventh year the appearance of sleep and yet he was very much awake, something that could be discovered by the uneven rising and falling of his chest as he lay there. Xayden had finally decided to escape the stuffy nature of the castle in order to go and enjoy the outside away from all of the stress of being a seventh year male at the school.
He had chosen to escape the stress of being the champion, the stress of being surrounded by multiple students who were eager to speak to him for one reason or another at the same time, the stress of those damn tests, and his classwork on top of that. It was nice to finally get some peace away from it all, and have his thoughts to himself for a change. At least that was something that he would have thought had his thoughts not been falling onto three people in particular.
Luna Demetriou. His former rival and current friend. She had done a lot to help him in the past few months, something that had greatly surprised him. Luna wasn't exactly known to be a kind person, especially not to those who had done her wrong as he had done in the past and yet she had been there to help him through some of the roughest times of his life. She had been there to help him when no one else could have, something that meant the world to him even if he had an increasingly hard time showing it. He would have to thank her in one way or another the next time he had a chance. Maybe he would find her a date with someone, she looked as though she would be a good match for his goofy brother.
The next person that his thoughts fell to was none other than his fiancé, Aito Thresh. That boy was easily one of the sweetest boys in Ravenclaw, if not one of the sweetest ones in the entire school. He was a kind and selfless boy that tended to put the well being of others before his own, something that warmed, and touched the older male's heart. He truly was beautiful, kind, gentle, and loving, everything that Xayden had wanted in a partner and more. Xayden loved Aito greatly, and it was something that he tried to show the other with every action, every word that he said to him. He really was so incredibly lucky to have him.
Lastly, his thoughts suddenly took a turn for the worse. He thought of none other than his ex, the notorious young Matthias Ojanpera. There was currently a manhunt going on with the aurors department in both England, and Finland. His father had been determined to find the young man, and place him behind the cruel unforgiving bars of the wizarding prison Azkaban after the most recent attack that he had done on Xayden had almost taken his life. He had gotten no notification yet, something that his father had promised him that he would be sent the very instant that they found him, something that had bothered him.
Had they truly not found him yet? Granted the search had only taken place a few weeks ago, but it unusual for searches to take that long. Normally the dark wizard would have been caught by this time, and would have already been placed behind bars. Had they already captured the Fin, and his father just forgot to send him the notification, or was he still out on the loose, somehow manging to avoid both sets of Aurors as they searched for him.
Was he already in Azkaban, or was he silently planning his next attempt on Xayden's life? Both scenarios made him incredibly uneasy, and a frustrated sigh made it's way past his lips as he felt the familiar feeling of apprehension and stress made it's way through his body, choosing to settle down into his stomach and causing it to ache. Attempting to shake the dark thoughts from his head, he sat up and sighed while running his hand through his hair before sighing again.
He could really use a distraction of some sort.
