The day had begun as normally as ever at the school. She had awoke, prepared for class and went to the Great Hall for breakfast. However, when Nadia arrived with a newspaper from Scotland, she found the day turning horribly wrong. She grabbed the paper with no sense of method or routiene, and looked at the front page. The words all seemed jumbled with no real order as the picture on the front caught her attention. There was a house. On fire. It was her mother's house.
All she could see were mentions of Dark Witches and Wizards unknown before she pushed away from the table with such a force that it upset the bench and she found herself moving out of the Great Hall and out of the castle, all of her books and her bag still in her place at the table. Any words spoken to her in that time were greeted with silence and a cold stare that she'd never worn before. She was completely off the grounds before she suddenly cast the spell to Appirate with a loud CRACK.
When the tugging stopped, she was standing at the front of her house in Appleby, the building however, was perfectly fine. What the hell? Where was her mother? Did she make it to work? Was she alright? Was the paper some late April Fool's joke? She was getting ready to turn and go ask the neighbors if she was alright, when a hard thump on the back of her head made the world disappear to blackness.

When her eyes opened, she was stuck in a full body bind, looking up at her mother, Auror Finnegan, and two people in death eater masks. "Bella!! My baby!! What did you do to her?!" "Shut up! The little bitch is fine!" Bella was lost, "But, but...the house? The paper?" "A trap. I got one too." The sandy haired man shook his head quietly. This was insane.
The Death Eater nearest her looked down at her and started laughing, "This? This is the witch that killed D? Really? She's scarsely more than some two bit tramp." "DO NOT talk about my daughter that way!" "Septumsepra!" Susan screamed in pain, causing Bella to both crings and cry out at the same time, "Stop it! Don't hurt her! I did kill him! Hurt me instead! I deserve it!" Seamus tried to move through the spell and silence her, though she moved slightly before the Death Eater grinned behind their mask and gripped a handful of flaxen hair, pulling Bella up to her feet and staring dead into her eyes.
"Awful big talk from such pretty lips, I can think of something more suiting for you. See your friend Seamus right there? Say goodbye. Avada Ked-" "Vitas Formidus!!!" Seamus' body glowed a brilliant white color and it engulfed her mother as well before all of the green color drained from her eyes, leaving solid black orbs.
The strength that poured into her was one she'd never felt as her hand shot out from the body bind, pressing her fingernails deep into his throat with a numb expression. When she spoke, her voice was hollow, "I have seen enough." The blood poured over her skin and down her arm before she flung him to one side, turning cold eyes to the other Death Eater.
"Seamus?! What in the hell is that?!" "I...I don't know...is she possessed?"
Her body moved in a way that seemed stiff and full of pent up rage. Every spell cast at her would hit, but show no effect. She started to laugh, laugh until she cried. The tears that were flowing were black as coal and staining her skin. "You will leave my family alone." That voice was so cold that it stung everyone's ears. Through the casting, she drew her wand and the spells she was casting were ones no one had heard for years, spoken in fluent Gaelic.
"Bloody hell...I think she's channeled her mother..."
Her mind was firing as the Death Eater crumpled under a spell to turn the bones it touched to dust, and her eyes shot over to where Susan and Seamus stood bound and she had a numb expression still. "Goodbye."
