Ama stretched her arms above her head slowly. It was a nice day out, not overly hot and with a nice gentle breeze. She enjoyed this kind of weather quite a bit. It was lazy, happy weather. She had spent the majority of the summer thinking up new lesson plans for her students and visiting various museums in her down time. Today however she just felt like wandering around and maybe shopping. So she aparated to Diagon Alley around noon. The streets were busy, but not overly packed just yet. She assumed the streets would be packed with students getting their supplies in a few weeks and was glad she came when she did. She could actually look around without bother.

She strolled through the streets slowly, her long black hair tied up in a ponytail today to stay cool, pausing at various windows to see their wares. There was so much to see in a place like this she didn’t want to go inside any shops just yet, preferring to take a look at everything first. She passed the ice cream shop, which was extremely tempting, but managed to pass by without stopping. The apothecary, the book store, places to buy robes and all manner of things when she came to what looked like an alley way. It was rather dark and creepy looking, but she could make out some shops and figures down there. She turned her head and saw a sign that read Knockturn Alley. She paused, looking at it curiously. She remembered someone mentioning it, but couldn’t quite remember what they had said…

She leaned forward slightly to look down the Alley to see if she could get a better look at some of the shops. Goodness the place looked dirty and gloomy…

Diagon Alley.

It had been ages since the last time he had been here and yet he was slightly relieved to see that not much had changed. The young man made his way through the streets, hands inside the pockets of his jacket as he walked through the street of shops with a fond smile on his face, looking casually at the window displays of the shops with a small amount of interest. Merlin, perhaps some things had changed after all! He didn't remember these shops offering such things back when he and his siblings had been students at Hogwarts!

Perhaps he would go in to some of these shops and pick up a few things for both his father and Aqua while he was here. He knew that they would appreciate the gesture and besides, he was sure that they would be just as fascinated with some of these things as he was.

Snapping out of his thoughts, he continued on his small journey, walking further and further into the place that held so many fond and familiar memories for him, his wide blue eyes darting from display in search of something that was both interesting and yet wouldn't be too much of a hassle for him to bring home to his family, he found himself thoroughly distracted, unable to fully pay attention to his surroundings as he wandered. It was because of this that mere moments later, he was unable to see the woman standing there, peering into the alleyway that led into the notorious Knockturn Alley and ran into her completely by accident. 

It was that small impact that brought him back to the present, his wide blue eyes looking at the pretty woman that he had accidentally run into with concern. " Lo siento!! I am so sorry señorita! I should have been paying more attention to where I was going!! I did not manage to cause you any physical harm did I?" His accented voice was laced with pure concern and his brow furrowed slightly as he glanced on the ground around them, making sure that the impact had not caused either of them to drop anything. After finding nothing, he looked back up to focus his attention on the woman, giving her a very sheepish smile. " I truly am sorry. I got caught up in all of the displays of the shops. I know that it is no excuse and that I should have paid better attention but I really could not help myself." 

As he spoke, his eyes drifted to glance at the alleyway that led to the dark and dangerous Knockturn Alley and his lips formed a small frown. Had she been about to go there? It was dangerous and it was a place that catered specifically for those that were interested in the dark arts. "Forgive me if I am being nosey, but you weren't about to enter this place were you? This is Knockturn Alley and it's a place that's usually only visited by dark wizards and witches. It caters to the dark arts and it can be a very dangerous place for a pretty witch such as yourself." It was not meant to be a flirty statement, merely a honest observation. She really was a very pretty young woman. She was given a small smile for a moment before he laughed quietly. " Here I am giving you all of this information and I haven't even given you my name. I am Ventus Dementovis but most people just call me Ven. May I have the pleasure of knowing your name miss?"

Ama had seriously been considering taking a step forward to go investigate the alley when someone crashed into her full on. She let out a startled yelp, stumbling forward a few steps before righting herself and turning around to apologize. The tall man who had run into her was already apologizing though with an accent she recognized as Spain’s. She shook her head quickly, “Sumimasen, the fault was mine for stopping in the middle of the walkway. I’m unharmed though, no need to worry.” she said with a small smile up at the man to show all was well. “I don’t blame you for getting distracted. I was distracted myself with so many different things to look at.” she added when he said the shops had distracted his attention from the pathway.

Ama was about to nod when he asked if she had been considering going down the alley, but then her eyes widened in surprise when he went on to describe it as a place for dark witches and wizards and a fairly dangerous place. She looked from him to the Alley then back for a moment. “It is? I had no idea such a place would be here of all places...” she said, covering her mouth lightly for a moment and shaking her head. She might have ended up in some very questionable encounters had she gone down there, so she was rather thankful he had crashed into her to prevent it. She looked back when he laughed softly and gave her his name. She smiled lightly, “Certainly you may, its Amaterasu Kuang. It’s nice to meet you.” she said with a small bow, pleasantly noting she wasn’t the only one with an uncommon name here today.
