Transfiguration sign-ups

Hello future and returning students. My name is Professor Domobrovski, and I will be teaching to you Transfiguration for this year. In my class you shall be learning the branch of magic dealing with transforming objects via altering their molecular structure. I know that half of you do not understand a word of what you just read, and I assure you that any questions that you may have shall be answered on the first day of class, so if you know what is good for you, do not be absent or you will regret it.

In this class you will be completing numerous assignments both in and out of class. I am a firm believer in making my students write papers and answering written questions about what they have learned in class for that day so as a result of that,the homework load will not be light.However, you will leave this class knowing more about this branch of magic then you have in previous years, that I assure you.

I do hold high expectations for this class and for my students. Late work shall very rarely be accepted unless it is an emergency in which case students are responsible for coming to see my during my office hours in order to work something out. Attendance and participation are a large part of the grade in this class, try not to be absent or it will affect your grade.

This year my class will not be separated by house, but by year. Younger and older students of all houses shall be in my class together, so I suggest that all of you get over yourselves and learn how to work together peacefully. Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated in this class, and I will have you know that I am very good at picking up on these sorts of things so not attempt to do so, or you will be punished severely.

I expect my students to treat both myself and each other with nothing other the. The highest respect while in my presence, so either do so or suffer the consequences.


Those who need additional help outside of class preparing for their O.W.L.s,N.E.W.T.s, or for those who just need extra help, are encouraged to sign up for either my remedial class or to come stop by my office for either some one on one instruction, or to arrange a tutoring session. My office hours are from eight am to six pm, come to me with any questions or concerns during those hours, and only those hours.
