As he hurried out of Ren's home in panicked hurry all he could think of at the moment was getting himself into the hospital as quickly as humanly possibly. On top of the feelings that he had experienced, there was now a sort of pain that was just as intense if not worse than the pain that he had felt when he had seen his niece for the first time in seventeen years and had seen the cold woman that she had become. This was so much more than he could have ever expected the minute that he had met that beautiful man that had danced so carelessly in the pouring rain and for a moment he could feel the image come into his mind unbidden as he leaned against the wall of a nearby building, panting heavily and trying so hard to catch his breath only to have it hitch the second that he recalled that image, causing panicked tears to build up in his eyes as he trembled in a mixture of panic and fear.
No. No. No. No. NO.
He didn't know what was wrong with him but he did not want to die! There was still so much that he had to do before he died, he could not afford to lose the chance to do all of that! Not now and not ever! Quickly he gathered himself enough, built up his mental state until he was well enough to safely apparate himself to St.Mungos without the dangerous risk of messing up in some way and losing a limb or two. It was a moment later that he arrived safely at the doors at the hospital that he forced himself in, looking every bit as panicked as he felt and every bit as sick as he felt, rushing over the receptionist and barely managing to get a full, sane sentence in to the poor, timid woman who had recognized him as the calm man who had come here numerous times in the past for serious wounds that he had never so much as winced at.
" S-Sir I'm going to need you t-to calm down! I-I can't understand a-a word that you are saying!"
" I-I need a bloody doctor! I-I feel so horrible! I-I think I'm dying! IhavesomuchthatIneedtodo! P-P-Please!" He ignored the various stares that he was given by the others in the waiting room, ignored the sounds of others whispering and murmuring amongst themselves, too caught up in the feelings that his own panic stricken mind was causing him, trying to force himself to draw in regular breaths until he felt himself grow incredibly dizzy and before he knew it, his vision grew blurry as he felt his body begin to fall downwards, the last thing that he saw being the panicked expression of the receptionist as she held a phone up to her ear before he hit the ground and his vision faded to black.
It would be a full day later that a very confused Sebastian would wake up to the smiling face of one of the mediwizards, his kind old face smiling down at the man as though he had not just caused a scene the day before in the waiting room, his cheery voice filling the room as he spoke to him. " Welcome back to the world of the conscious mister Sebastian! You had quite a panic attack there yesterday night!" The kind old man smiled at him, before looking down at his chart and glancing up at the Hungarian a moment later with a cheerful smile again covering his features. " Care to tell me just what it was that you came in for dear boy?"
He was greeted with a confused expression from the Hungarian. Surely after he had passed out they had preformed some sort of tests on him?! How the hell did they expect him to know what was wrong with himself when that was the reason why he had come to the hospital in the first place?! It took him a moment before he spoke up, his voice clear with disdain as he talked. " Well doctor, I was hoping that you could tell me. Surely you guys preformed some sort of test on me after I hit the ground, after all I thought I was dying yesterday. You cannot possibly tell me you don't do test after someone claims something that extreme." His eyes narrowed on the form of the old man, as he watched the man's face go from cheerful to confused as he glanced at the charts on the board that he held.
Oh hell no. They better have at least checked his blood pressure or there was going to be some serious trouble caused by him. He quietly swore to himself that if he died sometime in the near future, this hospital was going to be haunted by one hell of a vengeful spirit. He would Peeves look like a bloody saint by the time he was done with this place. When the doctor spoke again, his attention was returned to the doctor, his brow furrowing in confusion as the doctor spoke again.
" Why, yes of course we did preform tests on you but it says here that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you! As a matter of fact you are the picture perfect definition of health for a man of your height and age. I see nothing to hint that there is anything wrong with you...do you care to tell me a bit about how you were feeling? Perhaps I can tell you what was wrong if I can hear what happened."
His words were greeted with a sigh before he began speaking to the doctor. " Well, last night I was with a friend of mine and I started feeling really weird around him. I felt as though my heart was going to leap out of my chest and I felt like I couldn't breathe properly. I felt all nervous and I felt as though the longer I was in his company, the sicker I became. I hurried and excused myself after a while, but the pain that I felt when I left his company made me feel as though my heart was being ripped out from my chest." He paused before looking down at his sheets. " By the time I got he-why are you looking at me like that?" His dark gaze had moved from the sheets to glance at the doctor whose face had gone from cheery to looking at him like he was the biggest idiot that he had ever seen in his entire life. He looked so annoyed with Sebastian at that moment and if it hadn't been against the hospital's procedure he was absolutely sure that he would've beat the hell out of him with that clipboard that he was carrying by now.
" There is nothing wrong with you. You can leave as soon as possible." The old man spoke between gritted teeth as he made to leave the room. " The only thing that is wrong with you is that you are clueless. Next time you have a problem go to the bloody library. You're in love. Go and give that man a nice kiss and I promise you that you will never have this problem again." The old man walked off, muttering curses under his breath that no doubt would have served to make Sebastian feel even more stupid than he already did. He sat on the bed in absolute silence for a moment before his face exploded in a violent blush and a mortified groan left his lips. He was such a damn idiot!
He could practically hear Roderich rolling over in his grave laughing at him right now from beyond the grave already and the worst part of it all was the fact that he would have to go back and face Ren again today, so soon after making a bloody fool out of himself.
Damn it all. Merlin take him now.
