There were very few things or people in the world that were able to properly capture his interest or attention for a longer time period than just a few seconds and yet, here he was carefully observing both the shop and this vampire with an interest that he honestly had not felt in a very long time. Dull blue eyes would move to carefully look over the bottles and the contents that were held inside were something that genuinely interested him, impressed that such things could be made in such large amounts. Then again, he was always interested in what it was that people who were good with potions could do, for it was a talent that he himself lacked. Potions had always been a weak point for him as far back as he could remember, the most brilliant accomplishment that he had ever done in that field was successfully make a cologne that suited himself well and it was not exactly a crowning accomplishment in that field as far as he himself was concerned. This had been part of the reason why he had chosen to become an obliviator back when he was in school, it was one of the few career paths that did not require him to have to continue on with potions classes, something that he had been more than happy to be rid of when it all came down to it. While the professor had been somewhat pleasant enough in his day, he did not like having to constantly be required to do things that he knew he was not good at.
After all, what person honestly liked having to be faced with their own failures time and time again?
He was distracted from his thoughts [something that seemed to be happening often for some reason or another, Merlin what was wrong with him?!] when that scent began to fill the air. It was something that managed to relax him almost completely as the scents were collected and then melded into what would become his mother's gift. It was a scent that he was sure would suit her well even now as the other was barely beginning to make it for her and as he enjoyed the scent, he could feel a pair of eyes that rested on his form every so often, something that he allowed to pass without comment, figuring that the other was just curious or perhaps even slightly weirded out by his strange presence in his shop, knowing that he was probably a different sort of customer than what this Haru was probably used to.
After all, how often was it that a vampire would run into another vampire with his sort of appearence? Probably not very often, if he had to guess and that was just fine with him. He could stare all he wanted as long as he was not being rude in any sort of way to him than he honestly did not care what it was that he did. When he was asked his name by the vampire, it had been something that had surprised him slightly. He could see the other's point and it took a moment of quiet consideration before he spoke, after all it was likely that they probably would not see each other again after this, what harm could it possibly do him if he only knew a name? " I do not mind if you ask such a thing. My name is Takahashi, Miyavi." He spoke quietly, saying his family name first as was proper in his homeland before bowing slightly, something that was common upon meeting a stranger for the first time. " I know what your first name is because of the mortal child, but do you mind introducing yourself to me at any rate so that I may know your full name as well?"
