CaeJae:
Due to the future money system, the mod team is currently deciding a process by which to deliver coins to families that can be distributed by the parents on a realistic scale to their children (Who may or may not be students.) In order for us to file a correct system, and deliver what we deem appropriate to each Family, please post here using the following code as fast as you can, or when you sign up.
Example, coding taken from Galen Montgomery, you must use this coding and format from 1/27/2012 onwards.
Sincerely, the Moderation Team.

Alright, ladies and gentlemen. We've finally got the money code installed and money can now be properly implemented in roleplay. This means, what you have in your pocket is what you have to spend like real life. If you don't have money, you can't roleplay your character spending anything. Right?
So, to get things started, there is a set amount of money that I have and will be distributing accordingly:
-Families (that means immediate households)
From there, the heads of the families will list who is getting what and the mod team will set them up with that amount. If your character is the only character of your family, your name will be listed, but the majority of your money will be banked.
This bring me to the next point. With this money, there will be banks. Of course there is Gringotts, but parents will also have the option of setting up accounts at a bank in Hogsmeade will their children will be able to pull money out of their set amount in that bank. Again, remember, what you have is what you have.
Banks will be run by 3 bankers that will be appointed to the mods until otherwise stated (I.E. we 'hire' a banker). Bank money, like all transactions, can only be modified by roleplay to the bank. If you have not roleplayed a transaction (at the bank, with your friends, in a dark alley with a stranger), it will not be made no matter how much you say it has. No proof, no coin.
Also, shops will now have menus and inventory lists with prices attached for buying and selling. Shop keepers can make their money this way, but understand that you must also PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES!
This goes for jobs as well, like ministry jobs and dragon handling and being a hit wizard or a curse breaker or a mediwitch, etc. Each employee will get a monthly salary and a check will be given (money given) at the 15th of every month.
Students will also be able to get jobs at Hogsmeade. As of right now, only 6th and 7th year students are allowed jobs.
You can also earn money through posting, but understand that you only get 1 galleon, 2 sickles, and 3 knuts per post. For faster gain, you would have to make roleplay transactions and get a job.
We are calling each Head of the Family (or character representing the head of the family, if the parents aren't available) to post HERE with their job.
