[white]Stress. Doing homework was fun and all, but, it seemed to pile up quickly. Kastian Brennan hated having a ton of homework. He was a seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. By the time it came for dinner to come around, Kastian had hardly realized he had been out that long with his practicing and essay writing. He needed a break. A well deserved break in his opinion. The seventh year prefect took off from the common room and down to the Great Hall. He ate rather quickly and devoured a large quantity of food. It was a wonder how the school was able to afford to feed hundreds of teenagers with roaring appetites.[/white]
Evening. It was a time that the seventeen year old loved. The sun has set, the warmth was beginning to fade away, the shadows of the great Black Forest and winds caught within the trees made it necessary for him to have a light jacket. He lifted his left hand to grab the loose strings hanging from the neck of his hoodie. He was not in his school uniform, as classes were no longer in session by hours. For some reason Kastian felt a very strong urge to run that late afternoon, so hence is what he had done. Kastian had decided it was time for a run. He took off out of the Great Hall and ran across the grounds, he ran directly to the border of the forest.
As he reached the forest he ran alongside the border, not entering the forest, just alongside. Within moments alongside the border he had encountered a fellow seventh year... And dorm-mate, Liam Halvard. Kastian stopped at his side and held a grin. He kept his deeper thoughts of the dreams he had about Liam over the past few years to himself. But, his grin was something that seemed to be made of nervousness, and something of a hook, something that he wanted and made his heart pound. Cold sweat from his brow dripped down as his arms became covered in goosebumps. Kastian held his nervous grin and spoke up, "Forest?" He asked the simple question that meant something more.
He wanted to go into the forest. There was nobody better to go into the forest with than Liam Halvard when they wanted to be alone, or just explore. He was a Prefect, he should be setting an example. He looked around, seeing no other students and darted inward. Kastian paused several feet into the forest and looked back at the fellow seventh year lion teenager, "Well, you coming? You're better at this than I." It was not an awkward line for Kastian. Of course, he had once had a crush on the fellow seventh year, Liam, but, now Liam was just a victim of fantasy... Someone whom Kastian wouldn't mind getting to know much, much better. But, for now running and adventures in the forest were perfectly fine by him.
Kastian hopped back and begun walking backwards awaiting for the fellow seventh year to catch up to him.
