Working his way to the front part of the group, Vin got his head where he could see over a girl's shoulder (as he wasn't all that tall, but this was a tall girl) as the crowd of students pressed forward to see what the latest notice was put up only minute before. He skimmed something about private divination lessons, three new gag toys which had been banned, and then he saw the Quidditch game lists. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out quill and a scrap of paper, writing down the dates first before he wrote down which teams were first.
He wrote them down as well as the list of official scheduled practices; each team would request their own times of course, but each also had a few official ones each year. Noting the referees made him smile as well, but he wrote it all down for his advantage and it wasn't teill he was done that he noticed one of the first Slytherin games would be against the Ravenclaws. He remember his Captain giving him a pat on the back when last year one of the Ravies had quit the team right before a big match and they had suffered for it rather a lot.
The girl in question had been mortified when Vincent had managed to get her into the Room of Requirement and, before she realized entirely what she was doing, she had let him go a lot farther then she had planned. That had led to her confronting him right before last year's Slytherin-Ravenclaw match up and he had answered her quite truthfully he had no intentions of marrying her, only in furthering her own expertise in said department. Most of the team thought it was a tactic he had employed to their benefit and had given him kudos on a great plan.
In truth he had just been getting his rocks off.
But being congratulated on it and given much respect, he had let it go on, pleased to have gotten quite a lot of good out of that particular seduction, though short lived it was in length. Now he had his mind on another girl, though she wasn't from the Ravies and might prove far longer lasting indeed. Heck, if he played her right it could mean his own freedom from pressure and that was sorely to be desired. Wondering if they had found a replacement Beater yet as they had a tryout scheduled soon, Vin started to leave only to realize he was standing next to the Ravenclaw Captain who was reading the board.
He didn't have to grin; it was implied. "Hey Andrews," he said softly since he was right there and there was a crowd around them, "Any prospects yet? Are you going to let some more girls on your team?" The implication being they should be attractive ones, of course. And if he did Vin was sure the boy would want to talk with each girl and make sure she knew what had happened last year. Still, by his existence, he forced another Captain to add a worry to his list amongst other things, requiring him to stay up to date on his teammates social situations.
Ah pressure to drive someone to distraction.
