Hey everyone! I'm looking for just about any plot for little Makoto here. I will accept almost anything, though I am a bit hesitant on the lover part right now unless there is a good plot and you are willing to be patient.
Makoto Takashi
Personality
Makoto is very quiet, shy, and reserved at first. He is the type of person who will not speak unless he is spoken to, and his voice is very quiet and soft, just barely above a quiet murmur. Although he is able to speak English very well, his voice is heavily accented and because of this he is unable to correctly pronounce certain words and letters when he speaks. (For example, he says “remon” instead of lemon and “lamune” instead of ramune.) When he is nervous, or scared about something he will begin to speak in either very broken English, or very rapid Japanese, making it very hard for people who don’t speak it to understand him properly.
When someone manages to befriend Makoto, he becomes much less shy in his or her presence. While he is still polite, he is noticeably less formal then he was at first and he tends to become much more open with them. Anyone that has taken the time to befriend him will be rewarded with a very strong friendship, and a loyal boy who will do everything in his power to both protect, and keep his friends happy.
Makoto is very in touch with his culture. He will bow when he is meeting someone for the first time, when he is thanking someone for something, or when he is apologizing for something. He will often attach Japanese honorifics to someone’s last name when he is addressing them in a conversation, and will not make eye contact with anyone who is older then himself during a conversation, especially when he does not know them very well.
Despite this, the one thing that does set him apart from normal Japanese citizens, is the fact that he actually lives up to his name*. Despite being very shy, Makoto is also very sincere and will always share his true feelings on any particular subject. He refuses to go along with the Japanese norm of agreeing with the majority’s opinion instead of defending his own, believing that to be an outdated, and shameful way of avoiding conflict. It is in the moments when he is being sincere, that his true passionate nature begins to shine through, tending to genuinely surprise people when they see that side of him.
