Professor Edward S. Andrews
Personality
Edward has many different sides to him depending on just who it is that he is with. When it comes to his students and his fellow professors, he will at first come off as strict, and cold, (though this is just a defensive mechanism, due to this being his first year teaching at Hogwarts.) However, once he gets used to his job and his students however, his softer side will start showing through. He will do his best to help his students with anything they might need, both in and out of his class.
With friends he tends to be the sensitive one who both listens to his friend’s problems, and gives advice when it is needed. Once you bother to become close to him, he will be your friend for life. He is extremely loyal, honest and he has a very kind, and genuine heart. However, one must note that Edward is very insightful and can easily tell when someone is lying to him about something. He hates liars, and if he is lied to about something petty, or something serious that involves people important to him, he will remember that and his respect for whoever it is that lied to him will suffer greatly.
When he is with his family he becomes a very playful person. He enjoys teasing them, and embarrassing the heck out of them especially when it comes to his youngest, brother Xayden. People can often see the two brothers playing around outside on days when either Edward or Xayden don’t have classes. On top of that, people will also often see the two of them together during the weekends either at Hogsmeade, or around the castle. However, if there is anything that is to be noted, it’s that Edward is very protective over Xayden. Students that go after his brother in attempts to embarrass or hurt him will be receiving very harsh punishments.
