It was funny just how far Alejandro was willing to go for his friends sometimes. It had been just that morning, Alejandro had been sitting at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall; calmly taking a drink out of his glass of fresh pumpkin juice when Xayden had swooped in and yanked him out of his seat dragging the young spaniard out so fast that he didn't even have a chance to set down his cup.
Only after Xayden had dragged him off into the hall, checked and double checked that they were completely alone did Xayden tell Alejandro just what it was that he wanted from him.
As it turned out, Xayden had been chosen to represent Hogwarts in the Triwizard Tournament. As a result of this, Xayden would be expected to partake in the champion's dance. While Xayden did know how to dance, he did not know how to ballroom dance. He wanted Alejandro to teach him how to ballroom dance in time for the Champion's dance that was taking place later on in the year (much to the Spaniard's great amusement.)
He opened his mouth about to throw Xayden's previous statement about ballroom dancing being just for women back in his face (along with teasing him about his sudden lack of masculinity) but was silenced by a rather dirty look, and a painful punch to his shoulder by the embarassed man.
All of this led up to the current point in time which found Alejandro standing in the middle of a now bare music classroom. He had somehow managed to convince the professor to let them use the room as a makeshift dance studio, and convinced the professor to supervise as well so they would not be breaking any rules.
His warm brown eyes glanced at the newly annoyed professor wearily. He really did hope that Xayden took this seriously, and appreciated the trouble that he went through to do this for him because there was a nagging voice in the back of his head that told him that he had just made a new enemy out of his music professor, and judging by the fact that the professor was staring at him with a very unamused expression on his face, he was starting to believe the voice.
Thankfully, he was distracted from the annoyed professor's glare when a pair of footsteps made their way down the hall, and into the room. He sighed in relief when Xayden walked in, and stopped at the door, closing it and locking it behind him so that nobody had a chance of witnessing just what was going on in the room. Alejandro waited until Xayden had turned around, before finally addressing him.
" It's about time you got here! Alright. We're going to start with a basic waltz, and work our way up into a foxtrot. Does that sound good to you, me amigo?"
