After the Battle of Hogwarts, balance had been restored to the wizarding world and Voldermort had perished just like the prophecy foretold--by the hand of the only wizard to have ever been able to defeat him, Harry Potter. Voldermort's followers either perished in the battle by the hands of the order or were subjectively arrested and placed in Azkaban to waste away for the rest of their years. Nineteen years later, the children who had fought at the Battle of Hogwarts have finally come of age to join Hogwarts themselves, and the world--though peaceful--is beginning to become upset again.
How many hours had passed since the moment her heart felt like it might break?
Asking anyone else, they might have said it was a dumb reaction to an obvious joke. A prank. Something that wasn't real! Still, Lili was found to be sitting in the window of the tower, watching the snow fall and glancing sadly up at the sky. The holidays sucked, and right now...life just sucked in general. Even though she had not seen Cern do anything to the girl, something had flared up her self consciousness and it was enough to produce that broken heart feeling that she hated so much.
Fingers flexed against the glass softly as she looked out the window. Jealousy was such a bitch of an emotion. Where she knew that Cern was her boyfriend, and she knew that she loved him very much...she couldn't get past the thought that maybe...he'd be happier with someone else. Someone better. Prettier, smarter, less naive.
Someone who could take care of him in the ways he wanted.
A shaky breath filled her lungs and she sighed softly, letting her head fall onto her knees. Silvery tears escaped her eyes and she trembled slowly. She was so scared of losing her badge that she didn't think of losing her boyfriend. She didn't want to lose him!
What on earth could she do? She had to do something.

To say Cernenus was miserable would be about the sum of it.
Once they were separated, it was easy to get the story out of all three of them as one of the girls had a muddled brain and talked without a filter. For their part, Cern was somewhat mollified that they lost ten points each & gotten a warning they would be watched in the future, but he had lost twenty for his actions, even if he had started out the secondary victim of a nasty joke. In his defense of a housemate he had made a snap judgment in his desire to hurt others and he was being officially reprimanded. Banned to the dorm for the rest of the day, a couple other prefects had been checking to make sure he stayed in his room except for meals. All three had a detention to serve that evening after dinner. Together. A horrible day.
The Prefects had mixed feelings about it as well and his sister had been warned not to talk to him. On the one hand everyone knew what a nasty thing had been done by the snakes on a pair of Hufflepuffs dating (the gossip at Hogwarts was a constant thing across even house lines), but Cern had lost it and cost them a lot of points as well! So while the prefects were not talking to him except for orders (and everyone else was avoiding him as well) he had no way of finding out about Lili or where she was. No news was not good news however as he knew the last he had seen her she had been running away and he had no idea why. With no way to communicate with her and not knowing she was missing as no one was wanting to run across her at the moment and get drawn into the situation, he was in an information black hole.
He was, however, extremely pissed off and lying facing the wall of his bunk was the least of it. While he was ashamed at his snap judgment himself, he was also irritated at the adults who had (in his opinion) not given the girls a harsh enough punishment. And his initial concern over Lili and what she might have jumped to conclusions on had slowly turned to anger she had jumped to anything at all without hearing his side or even waiting to see a conclusion. There were several blood spots on the wall behind his bed where Cern had punched the wall (stone, you daft fool) and then ended up wrapping his knuckles with bedsheet to stop the bleeding.
When the time came to go to detention, he ripped off a piece of the sheet to wrap his hand and grudgingly changed into the aforementioned "clothes that can be ruined" and reported to the prefect who took him to the dungeons. Under Fitch's gleeful commands, they had to enter one of the drainage tunnels and find a missing ring accidentally lost in one of the sinks by one of the teachers. Not allowed wands by the time they found the damn thing and were released from their punishments, they all three needed showers (though he suspected the two girls were the worst off the way they acted as if removing their skin wouldn't be enough to forget this) and worse, he still didn't have the nerve to meet anyone's eyes in the dorm.
He stood under the shower head for probably thirty minutes before he began to feel human again. With the clothes in a paper bag he returned naked to his room and dressed sedately, all in black. A note on his pillow from his sister said she had searched but had not found Lili anywhere nor had she returned to the dorm. Cern had a suspicion where she was and knew that it was way past curfew. While his head had cleared some, he knew no matter what he had to speak with Lili about what had happened and extract a solemn promise from her never to run again from him if they were to continue. IF he could find her and IF he could get her to listen either way. So, for the second time in his life at Hogwarts he prepared to go out and risk being caught.
Grim and angry were not traits he ever showed.
Through the common room (unusually sedate this evening and quiet with the day's events) no one did more then glance in his direction as he went to the fireplace and tossed the bag of clothes in it, waiting to make sure they caught (since the contents he had searched through included things which created methane it caught and burned fiercely because of it's solid soaking) before he swept the room with his eyes. He was sure the number of heads he saw turning away showed everyone was very much paying attention. He felt no better for the knowledge; if Lili had been there he was sure his sister would have mentioned it immediately. Her missing meant Lili was still out there and Cern was not going to to rest till he found her. So at ten o'clock, Cern left the dorm to no one's protest, though there was immediate discussion after the door shut.
It was another hour before he managed to get to the Astronomy tower without being caught, having narrowly avoided prefects several times and ghosts twice. Somehow he didn't care once he caught up to her about being caught, but he didn't want to be caught before that so he had traveled without a light, which meant he had to go slower as well. When he reached the door he found it closed and locked, not surprisingly. After having unlocked it with his wand, he had entered quietly, relocking it behind him before he looked around. The classroom space was empty of life, the desks and chairs where they always were. Crossing the room he wondered if she had been daft enough to go on the roof in this weather and then the rather cruel imagination of his inserted the thought she could have thrown herself from it!
His heart leapt in his chest and he dashed across the room to the tower top stairs and was about to run up them when he saw a figure in the stairway sitting in one of the windows. Cern stopped, frozen on the step unable to look away from her, his heart thudding painfully in his chest. His initial desperation that she might be hurt or worse drained right out of his feet in an instant leaving him feeling powerless. It was several moments of quiet before he got the will to begin moving again, not knowing if she had realized anyone was there or not. He walked up to her quietly but with purpose, no longer unsure what he would do or say. The anger in him was still there mixed with frustration and abject weariness at the day's followings. She had probably been here more then a few hours, at least six by his count but she had not come to dinner nor spoken to anyone he was sure. Something was dreadfully wrong here and he did not know what it was.
Instead of speaking, he sat beside her on the step, next to the window on the turn of the steps. He sought to get his voice normal, to remove the anger in it before he spoke, but it was hard to do. His bandaged knuckles he thought might be infected because they throbbed, but that was his own punishment as well, deserved for his bad actions. He had concealed them from Fitch who had been enjoying himself too much to notice and like a self-torture he had allowed them to throb. He had not noticed that his temperature had gone up a tad, assuming it had to do with his temper of the moment, making him seeing everything differently. he looked at her foot on the edge of the window sill, unable to meet her eyes yet. He looked worn down, rough, on the edge of tiredness extreme, but he had a purpose and he was going to get through this no matter what she might say.
After another pause, he managed to speak with a limited amount of tension in him. "Liliane." He did not raise his eyes.
The sound of his voice didn't quite phase her like she imagined it would. She didn't look in his direction, instead, spoke in a quiet, thin sounding voice. "I know I promised to never run away again...I know I promised you that. And I broke my promise." One solitary silver tear rolled down her cheek and she sighed raggedly. As stated, she wasn't mad at him.
"I don't know what's wrong with me, Cern." She felt her head drop into her hands. "I've never...never broken a promise. Not to anyone. I just can't figure out what's got me so scared." On the back of her hand was a number, 36, and she looked at it, then up again at the stars.
Her hands pulled up her arms, a gesture for feeling warmth. "I'm realizing how horribly inexperienced I am, how naive...gullible...how stupid I must seem. I wish I could change that." All she wanted was to be braver...more sure of herself. Another tear chanced to roll then.
"I almost envy you, Cern...you get to be told storied about how your parent fell in love and dated...I don't get that. Everyone is always gone. So when I say I don't know what I'm feeling...its no understatement. I don't know." Third tear.
"I wasn't mad at you...I was a little jealous...but that's not the worst part. I thought...maybe she was right. I'm just a stupid little girl, too afraid to get her heart stomped on to be adventurous." From her bag, sitting beside her, she started pulling out wads of crumpled parchment covered in scrawls of handwriting. "I keep writing home to try to ask mom what this is...and I can't ever send the letters."
Finally she brought her gaze to him. He looked so angry...at her. Fourth tear. "If you're going to leave me...make it quick so that it won't hurt me so badly." She shivered, looking back down as those single tear drop began to flow nearly freely. "Just...know this, Cern Summerby. I've been here for hours...trying to figure this out. The only t-t-thing I have realized is t-t-that..." The tears wouldn't quit now, "I've never had anything worth holding onto before...and...and....I just....I truly love you with every last beat of my heart...what on earth did you do to your hand?"

SAD was a tricky disorder to notice, but fairly easy to work with once understood. Cern knew he had it and so did his sister, but fortunately his was usually not a severe condition so much as a minor one, causing a shift in his mood starting in late autumn and going till the beginning of spring. Unfortunately in the wind-whirl last couple of weeks, he had not been paying attention to time and neither had Keela, both distracted by that wonderful feeling of a first love. Thus when Cern's mood fell, it fell hard and smacked into the basement! Unaware of the cause, his knuckles, worsening temper, and frustration were tying into the seasonal depression he had each year sinking him down into a new low which he had no way of dealing with himself.
He listened grimly as she spoke, desperation in the sound of her voice sinking him further.
Her quiet words and unseen tears (because he couldn't look up) were clear in her voice making him feel worse for his anger and worthless for not understanding. Maybe he didn't deserve a girlfriend. Maybe he wasn't supposed to be happy. Or at least not that kind. What if this was the end of the family line? The more she spoke, the worse he felt until her last words he didn't even hear at all when she looked at him. What was the point? She was building up to breaking up with him over a stupid misunderstanding on her part, some misinterpretation of what had happened. The only thing that really broke through was when she suddenly sounded alarmed about his hand.
He glanced down at his hand, turning up the knuckles and saw the red marks of the blood seeping through. It was an effort to speak. "That's from the stone wall above my bed. I was hitting my fist into it while I was kept there." The words did not sound important to him really, but she had asked, he would answer. He was raised polite and even in a depression of such proportions he could not stop that answer. The cold of the walls from the outside weather was also starting to sink into his mind and muscles...
Her eyes went wide and she took his hand, gingerly stroking his fingers before lifting his fingertips to her lips. Something in his tone wasn't right. "Cer Bear..." She whimpered softly. Her body stretched and her forehead rested on his, shocked at the heat, gazing up into his eyes. It was as of she realized how deeply she cared for him and wasn't afraid to show it.
"Baby...let's get you fixed up. Please? You don't need to hurt like this. You're burning up...please?" She made sure he was looking at her before she spoke again. "I'm not talking to you as your Prefect, Cern...I'm talking to you as your girlfriend. Please...let me take care of you." He seemed so far gone...so depressed.
"Cer Bear...you are such a hero. I love you more than I can express. I wish I knew how to show you that." She knew of one way...and if couldn't prove it, nothing would. She pulled out the invisibility cloak from her bag and draped it over them before bringing him close and kissing him.
It was so deep a kiss, proving, pleading, beseeching him to understand how much she loved him. She breathed her light into his soul with that kiss, sending the world cascading to another place. As the moment continued and escalated...the feelings went deeper. Until...

She took his hand and caressed it, something he had to admit felt better then letting it throb, not that it relieved the pain much. Gradually as she spoke to him he got himself looking more at her, and not just in her direction, till she caught his eyes and in a fairly pleading voice spoke about taking care of him. He didn't see why she would if she was breaking up with him, but she called herself girlfriend so maybe she wasn't? Confused, he frowned slightly seeing the look in her eyes and then just folded his cards, seeing how she was pretty interested in this. He nodded.
As he said "Yeah okay, I guess," that she pulled something from her bag and tossed over them. He felt the cloak land on his head and was about to frown again when she kissed him. As far as kisses went, he definitely had not forgotten how much he liked those! It took only about thirty seconds or so of that to cause his testosterone to kick him in the butt till he started to respond more and interested in the process and soon after that she was tugging his shirt off and he realized what she meant by 'fix up'....
A few hours later, well after midnight he stirred, the depression certainly broken for the time being. While their pillowed clothes had helped, it was getting colder on the stairs and coupling there was not the most comfortable place in the world, yet it had still taken quite awhile for him to want to move! The reality of what had happened and what she had offered far surpassed what he had thought it would be like and his mind was in that afterglow of discovery. Pulling out his wand from the tangle of shirts under her bare back, he cast warming charms on them both and whispered to her "Lili, come on, I think we need to get dressed..."
And while his body felt amazing, alive, wildly excited, and totally transformed, his head now felt a bit fuzzy and his hand still throbbed, though worse now with their activity of the last while. He hadn't wanted to stop, however, imposing that throbbing hand on his own fault to begin with. Pulling his clothes over as she moved, he dressed slowly, surprised at how much warmer the charm felt then normal. He had gotten his stuff on and his wand in his pocket and turned to help her up when she accidentally brushed the bandage on his hand.
Reeling from the spike of pain, he stumbled into the wall as he gripped her, pulling her upright easily. As he leaned there gasping, he managed to say "You are just freaking amazing, Lili, let's get you back to the dorm before we get in trouble..." totally not seeing his own condition in his state of mind.
No one had ever...ever...told her it would be like that. Not ever! Her skin burned under his touch, and she could still feel the trails his fingers took. It was unreal, sharing her body like that. Part of her was overjoyed to have been able to surpass her fear of the unknown to make the man she loved happy...at least for now. Yet that other part...
That frightened part...
It made her think again. Would he be gone now that he got what he wanted?
As he spoke, she smiled. "Oh, no you don't. You. Have to go to the Hospital Wing. I'll take you so you don't get in trouble."
The walk to the wing felt longer than normal, and as they reached the doors, she said, "Let me do the talking."
She told Madame Pomfrey that she had been going to get the rest of the herbs for the Polyjuice potions for the early rising potions professor, when one of the armor suits in the common room went wonky. Someone had bewitched them as a joke, nut it had woken Cern and he'd helped her fight it off. (Ruddy metal deflected my spells!) Madame Pomfrey inspected his hand, drew out the infection, set the bones and sent them along, no questions.

Even as he felt a bit off, though he didn't really feel it yet in a way he had noticed, he was joyously happy! As far as he was concerned, Lili was the one. And to prove it she apparently was going to make him go somewhere he didn't see the need for. "What? No, I'll go tomorrow. It's way too late to be out in the halls and everyone will be wondering where you are." It was then it occurred to him she didn't know what all had happened today nor had that talked about the situation in the Library. And now that he had lost the madness he needed very much to talk to her.
As she insisted and started walking him there, he took the chance to talk. "Look, when you left I was so mad at them I attacked them with my wand. I know it was wrong, but I couldn't stop myself, they hurt you. I wanted to show you you were wrong to just go and they were being nasty to get at you. So far as they were concerned, they won when you reacted like that. So I hexed and jinxed them and we all got hauled off to the Headmaster's." He took a breath; he was feeling a little wobbly and wasn't quite sure why; did doing it drain you that much?
He would be prepared for a dizzy head next time he decided.
"I lost points, they lost points and I got detained in my room till supper. No one would talk to me so I had no way of getting you a message." He looked at the hand, holding it up and wincing as he bent his fingers; the nurse was going to know this had been festering somehow. "After supper I had detention. Fitch had us searching for a ring in the sewer it was pretty nasty and I was feeling good and angry by then. Partly at them and partly at you for not staying around." He glanced at her face, wondering how she would take that.
"I know you love me, Lili, and I love you too, but when you ran off it was like you weren't going to even listen to how I reacted by telling them off. It was like you didn't believe I would pick you. Like I didn't love you back." By then they had reached the doors and he held back, wanting to finish this first. Holding her arm he stopped walking, getting her to look him in the face. "I'm not interested in anyone else, Lili, I want you. I love every minute I spend with you. You need to prove to me you believe me..."
Inside the wing he let her talk, sitting on the bedside while the nurse examined his hand. Drink this, be still, be ready it's going to sting, etc. She drew out the infection and gave him an order to return before lunch tomorrow for her to check it again and then another potion for his head. Steam poured out his nose and mouth and he felt the rush of it all through his middle and throat, gasping after it with a pained expression, but she let them go. Amazing. As soon as they got out the door (this time with a piece of paper saying they were excused) he pulled her aside again and kissed her soundly, pressed up against the wall.
When he finished and came back up for air again, he said to her ear being only an inch away from her. "Merlin's Beard you are amazing! How could you ever think I want anyone else??" And then a naughty look before adding "Nurses' orders, right? So you probably need to go and make sure i don't get out of the bed again right...."
Truth be told, she knew he was right. She needed to have some faith in him and in them. Really, she'd never thought on the fact that she'd not been fully trusting. She thought on it as Madame Pomfrey fixed him up, and as they left, she felt him guiding her up against the wall. Blue eyes gazed up through black lashes and she smiled as he kissed her, arms wrapping around him. "Baby, I do trust that you love being with me. I do...I'm not sure how to prove it to you, but I do."
Wait...
"Did you say you love me?" This time she bit her lip and looked up at him, the smile replacing her lost glow. "You've not said that before."
She laughed a little and hooked her fingers in the collar of his shirt and led him back down to the dungeons. As the portrait swung open, she could see the empty Common Room as they entered. "We should probably both get some sleep, baby. But, I'll tuck you in." This time, she giggled softly before pulling him to his room.
As she wrapped her arms around him, Cern felt better, knew she was getting the idea. "Well next time you have the urge to run, try thinking about what you may be leaving me behind with. Cause without you there, I will react, especially if I think you've been threatened or hurt." he gave her a particularly penetrating look, definitely showing himself as being quite serious, ignoring her current status as a prefect. "Because I will protect you and if you are not there, I may end up doing something you don't like again."
Which while it might not stop him, she would be there to help deflect or change the situation. Once she left she was giving up control and maybe that would help her to stay there. "Yes, I did. I wasn't sure at first because I don't know these feelings so well, but I've decided it's the right word." He grinned at her again, especially as he saw her smile come out more. "I didn't want to give you a false hope before I knew where my heart was going; now I know."
She didn't answer him, but laughed and hooked her hand in his collar, steering him along. All the way down to the dorm he grinned, ecstatic over what all had happened. "You do realize I'm not letting you go right? Like, just give up on ever escaping my clutches right now cause I'm telling you now you're mine." Not that he had the energy right now to fight her about anything; he felt like he needed to eat a huge meal to build up again!
Following her eagerly as she turned towards his bedroom, he speeded up a bit behind her and slipped his arms around her from behind which slowed them down, but allowed him to feel very connected to her. His dorm was passed out, snores from three different beds. His last few minutes here had been uncomfortable and not fun ones. Seeing the bloody spots on the wall above his bed he shook his head and held onto her till she told him to get in. He slid around her waist to get in front of her without letting go, glancing down at her chest with a very happy grin as he remembered that part as well!
"Man, I guess I have no secrets left. How am I going to keep your attention on me when I'm not my best?" He kissed her and dropped down on the edge of his bed, suddenly feeling the tiredness of his limbs. Healing magic took energy from one and he felt it now combined with the activity of earlier. He pulled off his shirt, tossing it onto his trunk before he slipped out of his shoes and socks, looking back up at her as she handed him his pajamas from the end of the bed. "Just tucking in huh?"
She chuckled softly, easing don to take a seat by the head of his bed. "You really must sleep, my one and only. You've had a long day." As he changed, she watched him and smiled. "There will be plenty of time for that in a bit, baby. Ok? I want you to rest up and feel better."
She kissed him softly until he fell asleep, and went to the girls' dorm, and collapsed in her own bed as exhaustion simply consumed her.

She seemed amused at him so as he slipped into his pjs he said softly "Hey, can't blame me for trying!" And he wouldn't be stopping trying either; this had to be the best evening of his life for one having started so wrong and rotten! He now understood so much more about gir-- women and understood a little bit of why his dad was always doing what his mother asked him to. Which was why despite the fact he was weak and wanting to tempt her into sleeping here with him, he did as she asked and got in the bed.
"Lili? You do believe me when I say you're the best ever, don't you? I really would have tried to wait for you to be ready, I was going to do my best..." She kissed him a few times and he could feel himself fading. Just before he fell asleep with her hand in his he managed to whisper out "...love....you...Lili-love..." His dreams involved nothing of the infection and everything about what he had learned that evening about his girlfriend!
And how doing it changed everything.
In the morning he woke well after breakfast (probably good because of all the questions he would have been pestered with about last night); it was a Sunday morning and most of the school was out in the fresh snow with snowball fights and all at work. Being the first snow of the year it wiped a lot of yesterday's happening from the minds of many of his dormmates though they would remember again later. Cern knew none of that. When he woke he still felt weakish kind of, the after-effects of a healer's work, but much better then last night and as he stumbled off to the bathroom he was suddenly aware he had stripped and changed in front of his girlfriend!
He felt a bit foolish in a way; what an idiot he must have acted like last night. Would she ever let him forget it or had she been amused? Clearly it hadn't tmepted her into round two unfortuna-- well maybe fortunately the way he felt right now! Still, though neither of them knew it, it had relieved all the stress of the day before completely. He felt better relaxed then he could ever remember and getting dressed a bit later after a shower he found himself whistling, happy with the world despite it's past treatment. he walked into the common room and made a beeline for the hot chocolate, his stomach suddenly reminding him about his sleeping through breakfast.
Already risen and showered, Lili was holding her book in her lap with parchment on top of it, silver quill flashing as she finished the sentence with a flourish. She glanced between the herbology book, and the parchment, then back again before blowing a tendril of pink hair from her face. The rest of her long locks had been braided down her back and charmed to be a more muted shade of pink. She found the pale hue suited her mood today.
Her small frame was in the middle of an armchair, knees drawn up to allow for her to balance the books. She was, honest to goodness, absorbed in the book with a focused face. She had brought up a small platter of pastries, but only one was missing with the offending pastry sitting upon a napkin with one bite missing.
Hearing the whistling, she flicked her eyes up and she smiled. "Morning, Sleeping Beauty." She teased, looking at him with a soft grin. "Do you feel better this morning?"

Walking into the common room he at first did not see his girlfriend until he was almost halfway across the room. By then he was closer to the hot chocolate when his growling stomach woke him up to reality. Blushing, he turned as she called him sleeping beauty (whoever the heck that was) and gave her a grin saying "Oh I'm sure you beat me this morning! I slept like a log and woke up missing you." Smelling her on his sheets had fairly guaranteed the dreams subjects as well.
Walking over with his hot chocolate he saw her books first. "Ah Merlin! I've got to get that Herbology stuff started today too... I got a book for it yester-" his eyes caught the food about the same time his nose woke up. "Oh Lili! Can I have one of those by any chance?" Choosing a chair beside her he sat in it, holding his hot chocolate level and out as he flipped his legs over one arm and his head facing her against the other side. After all, her face was far more pleasant then anything else.
"Yes thanks for that last night, I apparently needed sleep more then I knew. I guess my knuckles got infected when I was at detention, I wasn't thinking too clearly around then." A sip and then his face got serious. Something had just kicked in his mind and he knew now what he had to tell her. "I...ah, forgot about something last night I should tell you now. It would be best if you knew before it gets bad." He cleared his throat once, suddenly ashamed about what he had to deal with and he should have told her sooner.
"I, uh, have this thing called seasonal disorder. it means when it gets into fall I started getting depressed and kind of stay that way till spring comes around. It's why I tend to be seen by a lot as quiet. Sis has it some to; I guess it hit yesterday and I didn't realize it till this morning. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before, I kinda forget about it till after it starts each year." Very soberly he watched her. For all he knew this might be too much for her to deal with.
"Baby, you can have as many as you want. I brought up this thing for you. I thought you might sleep like the dead after last night. You had a rough day. I even brought this for you." She held up a small phial that she was keeping in her hand, nearest the fireplace. "A curative restorative from Professor Dunwitz. I swear he's got no life. He must sleep in his office."
As he spoke, she set the book and parchment on the table and got up, leaning over the back of the chair he was resting in. "Have you tried anything to help with it? Potions? Teas? I'm sure I could find any number of herbs to help and take them to Madame Puddifoot...she made a tea for me last year out of the stuff I took her. It was really good too." She reached down and ran her fingers tenderly through his hair, massaging his scalp with the tips of her fingernails.
She'd barely slept last night, poring her energy into what homework she had left to do after possibly three hours of rest. But, now, she seemed more awake and alert as ever. Mostly because she was worried about him. Yesterday had freaked her out to the max, but today was a new day. She made her way around to the front of the chair and wrapped both arms around him, craving that connection and that closeness. "We can make it through anything, if we make it through this, baby. I'm willing to do anything to make sure you're happy. I don't just mean in the winter time too. I mean all the time. I'm happy when you're happy." She pressed a gentle kiss to his lips and smiled, "I love you, Cern."
